(Twitter)   Funny Dilbert guy doesn't understand the protest because "treating all people with the same respect' isn't a specific enough change. Plus he's tired of not allowing white supremeists having their say   (twitter.com) divider line

1. Police need to stop murdering black people
2. Actual video footage exists of Police murdering black people
3. The dissenting opinion, "Police should murder black people more" is racist
4. Black people are members of the public, and deserve to be safe from being murdered by Police.

The 90's ended a long time ago.
Go be a has-been someplace else.

1. You've got to be more specific than stop killing us. That's just so, sooo broad.

2. I haven't tried to understand your argument and you can bet your ass I sure was well wont'.

3. No one wants to hear my made up facts.

4. Hey, maybe the Nazi's have some good ideas. We should listen peacefully while they outline their dreams of white America with guns and killing.

Hero tag? WTF?

Well, I for one am glad Scott Adams is here to tell me what to think. I was seriously on the fence about this whole BLM thing but I think he's right.

I just can't respect a protest that has a low regard for public safety.

2020-06-08 9:05:54 AM
If you ask nice I'm sure one of the protestors can grab a another microwave for you the next time they raze a Target.

2020-06-08 9:11:34 AM
Scott Adams is the same guy who made a big deal out of hiring several economists to help him decide who to vote for in 2012, and then said 'oh no they're wrong' when they said vote for the blah guy.

He's not a serious person.

2020-06-08 9:11:47 AM
How's the view from that ivory tower, Adams?

2020-06-08 9:20:17 AM
I love people like Scott Adams think "not allowing cherry-picking" is the same as "not allowing data" - you're allowed your data, you're just not allowed to be the sole arbiter of what constitutes reliable data even when it comes from the same source.

They're protesting a farking murder. What's so difficult to follow?

1. No specific suggestions on what to change.

This is why "I want a haircut" protests are his platonic ideal.

2020-06-08 9:34:09 AM
A few weeks ago, I was going through some boxes of old stuff. I came across a vintage Dilbert plush I used to have on my desk in the office I worked in years ago. I took the David Tennant Dr. Who pin off of it and threw Dilbert into the trash.

I regret nothing

I'm afraid you have to be more specific.

I suggest all protestors invest in bigger signs so they can detail their manifestos.  In triplicate.  Clarity and detail count, people!

If you can't fit your message to a bumper sticker or a baseball cap, conservatives wont be able to understand it.

Sorry, I would make my protest signs in a way that Adams can understand them, but I don't speak Dipshiat...

Scott Adams is a prime example of white privilege. He's not particularly smart or insightful but people still pay attention to everything he says

Another dick head that I gave money to in the past that pisses me off today.

Seriously, I think the guy that draws Dilbert is the only one that thinks the Pointy Haired Boss is the hero.

Adams is an underappreciated genius and we are all lucky to have him provide his deep insights into the issues of the day. Furthermore, his strip remains the only shinning example of wit and humor in the depressing landscape of the modern comic page.

Why am I not allowed into the debates?

edmo: They're protesting a farking murder. What's so difficult to follow?

Well, they're technically protesting a whole shiatload of murders. One was the spark that set off the powder-keg, but there have been so, so many...including a few protest-worthy murders by the police during the farking protests.

2020-06-08 9:45:20 AM
Scott Adams could use a good and hopefully permanent de-platforming.

I think it's similar in usage to "this cottage cheese tastes funny, is it expired?"

Oh no, the patron saint of white collar workplace creepy guys with martyr complexes feels that BLM protesters aren't catering to him enough.

I'm sure they appreciate your whitesplanation on how they should express their frustration over black people being murdered by law enforcement.

Define "people".

I find him fairly easy to ignore.

The entire strip was from the point of view poking fun at the stupid everyman that worked for him.
It's a long haul troll.

This surprises you?  The management around here probably has more in common with the police than the protestors.

Didn't this clownshoe moron also thing donald was going to be the greatest president the country has ever seen or some shiat? His opinion is worth less than nothing until he can prove he ain't got bees in that crazy head of his.

Newspaper comics died about 5 minutes after Charles Schulz was lowered into the ground.

Oh cool. I was wondering when the anti-OWS tactics would show up. Considering how depressingly well they worked last time I'm a little surprised it took this long.

I heard someone today present the statement that a lot more unarmed white people are killed by police than black people as an argument against the protests. Let's not worry about the validity of that statement for a second. But if a white person thinks that's true, shouldn't they also be outraged?

Point A":  OK, we can come up with some specific policy changes

Point B:   White supremicists SHOULD have their say.  The 1A is not in place to protect popular speech.  Sometimes it sucks, and you are going to have to hear some really unpleasant stuff, but there it is.

How often do you think this choad says "All lives matter!" in the course of a day? 20? 30? Like, when he goes to Starbucks, does he order his coffee, and say "ALL LIVES MATTER!" when he gets his change?

Funny Dilbert guy

Scott Adams hasn't been funny for over 20 years. He's built a career on reworking the same "my boss is incompetent" and "my coworker is lazy" jokes into every possible permutation but it got stale when Clinton was still in the White House.

Not when used in context

e.g. "Isn't funny that this moron was once popular?"

...in that, every time he opens his mouth, other people kick him in the shins to stop him from spouting uneducated stupidity?

Yeah, I could go with that.
