Should have had the generals and Sergeant Major of the Army coming out in favor of free speech too. Maybe use Capt Marvel for that?

Well shiat, my Twitter account is suspended again. Not even getting the "click here to start the timer" I got last night.
I had a tweet to Trump blow up real good today. I bet he mad.

I wish the second "protester" had been "black people who have been complaining about this shiat since forever." But I guess that would have implied white savior, so maybe not.

Tried to watch it twice and zoned out.  Someone put words over an x men movie or something I guess.  Alrighty then.

That was really creative.
I have thought of the protests in Hogwarts/Hunger Games terms. I hadn't thought of them in Avenger's terms.

Captain Marvel appears later in the battle. I bet her label would be VOTERS and Thanos' ship firing at her could be voter suppression.

That was farking brilliant

They aren't the problem, the problem is that there are a lot of very bad, racist, and violent policemen.

If there were many good policeman, we wouldn't have the problems.

Oh, I'm sorry, did I say "many"?  I meant _any_.

What movie did this ruin the plot for?

Yes, it's a shame they are all located in other countries.

Steve Rogers: "So long as one man stands against you, you'll NEVER claim victory."

Far better than the movie's 'Big Dumb Heroes' moment.

/The Last Avengers:

//"Last Cap": "I know TRUE evil... it rots the soul... It consumes the mind... It KILLS ANYTHING that opposes it... have your kind EVER thought what might happen if THAT BEING REMEMBERS... the light is stronger than DARKNESS?"

Skrull Queen/Dark Phoenix Force: "What is darker than DEATH?! What is GREATER than POWER?!"

"Last Cap" revealed: "...Who said the dark was EVIL?"

Cue Eddie (Cap)/Venom transforming: "...sometimes... it is the RAGE of one that stops the pain... and the HOPE of another...that proves no one is beyond REDEMPTION! FEAR US!... For we are your end... but YOU are your OWN doom."

What is this millennial obsession with needing to pretending to cry the most. And fark comicbook shiat.

2020-06-06 10:46:52 PM
I feel ya, but such rhetoric is dangerous really.

Keep in mind that if you say "the police" as if you know the heart of a person from sight alone.
Then you do agree with the racists, that it is even possible to know the heart of a person by sight of them alone.

Nothing is as simple as we would wish for it to be. But the first and worst mistake is to believe it is.

That video flies in the face of every police department and officer that has been working to be better and join the unified front against police being unaccountable for their actions.

Do not be ready top label and judge all too blanketly.

The missing part on the evil side would be half the universe is trump voters and a ton more people who don't care.

Point one: You're both being stupid. There is no implication of a contest there. Just a declaration of intensity. People cry differently, some ugly cry, some bawl, some do the single tear. Some just look grim.

Point two: Only fools dismiss a story based on it's medium.

Frankly,  bulllshiat.

How many years of this shiat been going on and how many police have been completely silent about the bad cops? They should've been walkouts a long time ago given the scale of this bullshiat.

I'm sick of "not all cops" themed excuses. It isn't the actions it's the silence in the face of the bad actors. That silence and complicity is evil too.

Hang on. I gotta breathe.

Chris Pratt = Elmo. Oh god. . .  I'm gonna crack a rib holding in the laughter. Oh my. . . Please for the love of all that's holy let him see this.

I need an o2 tank. . stat. . .

/I'll finish the video when I can breathe again

2020-06-07 12:25:27 AM
This is utter bull carp. The country has gone nuts because one cop went out of procedure, and yes, he should be prosecuted.

2020-06-07 12:28:53 AM

Chuck87: There are many good policemen.

Who stand by and watch as their fellow cops commit crimes, who refuse to speak out against their fellow cops and who look the other way.

So... I guess one could say "good" is a relative term.  "Good" in the sense that they aren't actively raping, thieving and murdering, but not so good in terms of actually fighting the evil right in front of them.

2020-06-07 12:30:39 AM
Okay. Got through it but bust a gut again when I saw Elmo. . . *snertsnicker* Hold it together, Peki, you can get through this.

Anyway: Awesome video. Way to recognize and call out all activism. It's been incredible to watch folks self-organize around their roles.

I liked it even if I didn't get some of the pop-culture references from the protests.

/try not to watch the news or it would cause me to drink more

If you didn't catch the kpop stan reference, I highly recommend you look into it.

It is glorious. Pure, amazing, glory.
