You can still get them, just look at all the tacticool ads that fill up the Fark borders.

I had to control alt delete just last week, when an update froze a program to full screen.   Task manager, end program, then restarted the computer for the update to take.

Fark has ads? What shiat browser setup do you use that contaminates your eyes with that trash?

Those ads are targeted for you, but thanks for letting everyone know you're into that stuff. I get to look at gaming laptop ads on most sites now because I helped my niece buy one a month ago. Should fade away in a few months and go back to car ads.

I liked that movie.

Is that why all the ads I get are for naked Kate Beckinsale?

I remember the giant pant leg thing, the glowy part, not so much.   I saw many a big pant leg at the "raves" I went to back them.

I had a friend in college who did the AOL disk thing.  He'd send in every postcard he found, format the disk, and free floppy.  He literally had 100's.

#35 Got a deadline for a "humorous" article?

Dredge up some recycled shiat that shows how superior today's technology is when compared to 20-30 years ago.

There's a big construction project about to start near me that is going to cause traffic problems, disruption etc. They had a bunch of consultation meetings where they'd meet the public and apparently hand out free USB sticks with the plans on them. I was going to go and grab a handful but they were cancelled by the Corona lockdown...

That's retroreflective tape, not tinfoil.  Still a thing (just without the giant pant legs).

Nothing about using a good screensaver to prevent image burn-in on your monitor?  Amateur hour.

I personally prefer the After Dark  application. It has some really cool ones like flying toasters.  The built-in Windows ones work too, if you're cheap.

How to do laundry?
How to boil water for your ramen without injuring yourself?
How to pay your own bills?
How to fill out a job application?
How to pack SO YOU CAN MOVE OUT OF MY FARKING BASEMENT YOU FREELOADER!?

Oh, sorry. Got carried away

Hey, just going off of what TFA said.

Anyways, to be overly pedantic, you are wrong.  Obligatory Wikipedia reference: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tin_foil

"34" and "Mom" shouldn't be in the same sentence.

/Whereas "34" and "Step-mom" = giggity?
