Remember 2019, when one of your biggest concerns was whether or not Spider-Man would be yanked from the MCU?

No. I remember it being a big concern for some people, but I had more important things in my life to think about.

Meaningful things like "What if Black Widow is a massive success? Will that convince Marvel to pull one last time travel stunt that results in Natasha being alive and Hawkeye's dead instead? Cause I'm still disappointed over that decision."

And if either makes another Spiderman movie it will suck just as bad as every other Spiderman movie the studios have thrust upon us

Will we still get more Miles Morales?  Because Spiderverse was amazing.

I remember a one off comic book where Wolverine & Spidey wind up fighting each other in a cemetary in Germany.  I would love to see that made into a movie.

Hopefully the next film will finally reveal his origin.

I miss the old, old days when I didn't know about all this behind the scenes crap.

I remember as a kid being excited to open the newspaper to see the movie ads to see what was being released this week!
I had no idea who owned who and what was in production and what was delayed!!

I didn't know until the "Entertainment" section told me what was opening that Friday!

Am I confused here:

the first Morbius was filled with Easter eggs that made it clear to the audience that the movie is taking place in the same universe as the MCU.

Doesn't this movie come out in 2021?  Why are we wasting time travel on movie journalism?

How many Marvel-related movies? Quite a few. How many Disney-related movies? Nearly most.

Spider-Man vs. Wolverine

Notable for killing off the Hobgoblin's alter-ego* before they'd revealed that he was the Hobgoblin.

* who is now the best friend in the new movies!

enry: Will we still get more Miles Morales?  Because Spiderverse was amazing.

Just note that's DESPITE Avi Arad and Amy Pascal being involved. Most times they get involved it ends up either being Spider-Man 3 or The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in stupid decisions and executives sticking their corporate dicks where they don't belong.

Another point of view as to why this is important:

Tom Cruise has always wanted to play an older Spider-Man that wasn't a teenager-family-friendly-role-model. Later in his life. After he's matured. After he's married to Mary Jane.

Tom Hardy and the writers of Venom said that, if they could, they'd want to have no retcons if possible should Spider-Man show up. Venom 2 has been postponed.

Venom made $875m... Into The Spider-Verse made $375m.

Woody Harrelson has said that not having Spider-Man in Venom was a mistake, and only Marvel (who is, actually, autonomous of Disney, minus distribution) could correct it.

...you figure it out...
