I cannot imagine such a crowd.

We visiting in one rainy June day back in the 90s. We got there via a van tour with another couple and some guy. We saw no one else. Nobody.

I've been wanting to build a mini-Stonehenge on my BIL's farm pasture for years. But I hate getting up before dawn.

My wife and I ended up being there on Summer Solstice when we went 15 years ago. Didn't plan it that way. We got Druids and everything, but it wasn't too crazy crowd wise. We were told to not engage with them as it was a religious ceremony. Also checked out Avebury Henge and Bath while in the neighborhood.
