Well, he was wrong. We're lucky if that rent-a-cop is even literate. It's high time to abolish this jobs program, between the corruption, lawsuits and overtime: cops are a serious waste of taxpayers money. American cops always have been the most corrupt, dirty, illiterate purest trash of trash from American society.

This is all out warfare declared against Americans by the wealthy. It's been a long slow war for decades and decades with casualties and damage kept relatively low so as not to spook the Human Capital. But now with their Fuhrer firmly in place and backed by some of the most loathsome individuals since the Khmer Rouge they can now begin ridding the nation of the undesirable. They're  purposefully attacking Black people, reporters and women. Even an old white man was not worthy of respect for human rights. The New Khmer Rouge that is the  Republican Party under Orange Julius's reign has begun it's violent final solution as they have now complete and total control with Moderate Democrats in the House stifled and silenced and frankly too cowardly to do much but say things and write stern letters. The appeasement is far easier for Moderate Democrats who tend to lean white and wealthy and share the same country club memberships as The New Khmer Rouge. They're starting with the Blacks, the press and "uppity" women as well as the homeless ( the Boogaloos have been using this opportunity to attack, burn and kill homeless people across America ). Then it will be the rest of the poor -- work or die and by work they'll mean slavery for no pay. Then it will be political enemies -- Democrats, Independents, Greens and finally those wacky Libertarians. Harsh drug laws are already coming back. Indefinite detention is already in place and has been since 9/11/01. It's over. Welcome to The Killing Fields.

/ You WILL obey the 1% protected by the 3% or you will join the other 96% in the work camps.

The lawful order would be to leave the premises right now. Then it becomes trespassing. And disobeying a lawful order.

I am guessing they ordered him to step back. And to not try and touch them. The police do have a concept of too close. They are trained to respond when someone gets right up to them. Because, in a street situation, the person could then use a knife. Or fists, or kicks. They will not allow some one they do not trust to get that close. I can agree with this idea while still hating them in general.  The guy was being a jerk.

FarkingChas: The lawful order would be to leave the premises right now. Then it becomes trespassing. And disobeying a lawful order.

You're actually trespassing as soon as the restaurant tells you to leave and you don't.  The cop doesn't have to tell you anything.  They can just arrest you on PC if you're still there when they arrive.  They can even arrest you for it after you've left if they can find the PC somewhere else, like on security footage.

The "lawful order" nonsense is a fairly recent expansion of law application that used to be very rarely charged.  For example, in DC, the "lawful order" statute was put on the books to give traffic cops the power to direct cars and pedestrians, not to be used every time someone argued with them about something.

There are also "failure to assist a police officer" statutes in many places.  Of course, we don't see that charge much, since the cops would view asking for help as showing weakness.

You're right, you are guessing because you obviously didn't watch the video. The guy was kneeling 20 feet away from the cops, talking about how they weren't enemies and how he wanted them to all respect each other. The cops obviously didn't like that message because they advanced on him, hauled him to his feet and arrested him.

They didn't arrest the white people next to him, who presumably were violating the same "lawful" order, so it was either his skin color or speech they didn't like. Neither of those are ok.

Holy shiat, and the top comment is how he had hit the other cop on the ground, so him being on the ground and complying after that (outside of him resisting them putting the weapon into his hands) justifies them doing this and to not be like the other MSM.

farking really?  At that point he had given up.  Their job is just to arrest him if he did hit that other cop.  No more, no less.  Just arrest his ass.

Not that strange.  There are cops that want this tonget out of hand so that they can change the narrative.  They want to enrage the crowd to caus them perform some sort of action that justifies them beating in hsads.....  "They were a dangerous unruly mob that needed to be pacified.  Which is why we are justified in profiling them.  Governor, we need the national guard and more guns to help keep the peace."

The guns are the problem.  Outlaw guns and no one can "fear for their life".  We could solve this problem in a month.  Have the "well regulated militia" (national guard) collect them.  The previous owners would be reimbursed, but only for the first month.  If you still dont turn them in, there will be no reembursement when they come and take them.

There are 300M+ million guns in America.  At least 175M of us are armed.  The majority in the cities and areas that are currently experiencing full scale daily rioting.  And yet, there have been fewer shootings connected to the riots than in any one of those cities on any slow weekend.  And it's been going on for a week.

So how are guns the problem?  Where is this great bloodbath that we've all been told would happen if society broke down because everyone is armed?  If nothing else this event has proven that the gun control narrative that you should call the police instead of being able to defend yourself is total bullshiat.

It's not a rational argument anymore.  Now it's dogma.

Actually I was surprised to watch Australian cops break open a drug syndicate, 20 different arrests at multiple locations, mostly in early morning raids spread across a region, but what surprised me was that each 6 person(ish) swat team that went in smashed in the front door and went in, no one had a weapon out. Not one of them in multiple syncronised raids had a weapon in their hands when they went in.

That'd better be illegal enough that that cop never ever sets a foot outside a prison again. That has to be the most direct abuse of the system of law a cop can do. And that at a time where people are rebelling against the abuse of power by the police.

If I was his boss I'd try hard to get him locked up forever. What an absolute ass.
