It is the opposite of dumb.

Even if you think this is ridiculous or ineffective, it's free publicity for a family-owned joint that is most-likely struggling to survive.

They missed some downhill angle excitement, I am disappoint.  I'm going to hold out for a fried chicken trebuchet.

stinkyboss: when i saw the phrase "fried chicken zip line," i thought of a zipline where you try to catch pieces of fried chicken in your mouth when you go down it.

I'm thinking about the logistics of this more seriously than I should. It might even work with nuggets or popcorn chicken, but you'd need some kind of way to prevent the missed pieces from becoming dirty so they could be reused or your going to waste a lot of chicken.
