It's kind of amazing how terrible Trump is at everything he does and how infinitely tone deaf he is at every turn. The man is a world-class piece of sh*t. Like if they gave out Olympic medals for being a massive piece of sh*t, it's the equivalent of winning the 100m dash by 3 seconds.

He's pissing off the whole world to appease his base of domestic Nazis.

Cops are just being completely indiscriminate now.

He's been insulated from the real world his entire life. He's never faced a real consequence for anything he's ever done. So he fails upwards farking up more and more along the way, increasing his fragile ego.

If you wrote him as a character in a movie people would think it was a farking parody.

Sounds like all the "bunker biatch" jabs got to him, and it was time to trot out a little fake bravado.

You have to admit, he's gotten a lot done. I mean, in the past month alone....

When was the last time someone triggered an international incident by doing nothing more than leaving his house and walking across the street?

Fascism came to America wrapped in a flag and carrying a cross. I really see no hope of saving the Republic

And still . . . all he managed to do was push a few protesters around.  Where is the bad ass of their fantasies, who will crush the liberal hordes??

Even on the rare occasion when he decides to put down the phone and do something, he half-asses it.  I don't see how even his supporters could say "well he sure showed them!"  Though I'm sure they're managing it somehow

So the Australian prime minister is showing more concert over one reporter from his country... than Donnie can pretend to show over the whole country.

King Something: When was the last time someone triggered an international incident by doing nothing more than leaving his house and walking across the street?

Well, I think it's more the "tear gas and rubber bullets that cleared the street" than the "walking across the street" part

2020-06-02 6:25:13 AM
I kept reading that as "Surprise reporter Amelia Brace..."

Also, I missed the part of Paul's letters to the Corinthians that said Jesus encouraged the Emperor to have his soldiers beat up people, including the scribes, so he could go walk to the Temple and wave scrolls around.

Poland, 1939.

Seeing on Twitter that one of the people who was run off by the tear gas was a Bishop from the very church that Trump wanted to stand in front of.  So not only did he not ask their permission for his little stunt, he even gassed the Bishop of the church

Well done, Donnie!

Wasn't "he is willing to gas his own people" one of the reasons given for needing to remove Saddam?
I kinda remember an American President once making that claim.
I think it was even a Republican.

King Something: When was the last time someone triggered an international incident by doing nothing more than leaving his house and walking across the street?

Honestly, there was a Farker who made that prediction a few years ago. Can't find the post but it went something along the lines of: "Trump's such a farkup he could cause an international incident just walking across the street."

"The attack on our reporter and cameraman in Washington is nothing short of wanton thuggery," Mr McPherson said in a statement issued from Seven on Tuesday afternoon.

Correct use of "thug" during a protest, as it describes police actions.

It should also be noted that this is 7 News Sydney, which I am to understand is basically the Fox News of Australia. Very right wing.

While they're not necessarily picking any sides in the riots, they like to send their reporters and camera crews into the shiat and hopefully stir up some action for viral clickbait pieces. Although that doesn't seem to have strictly happened in this case.

You know, up until a while ago, I'd thought that Trump* has made America the laughingstock of the world.  Then, like others here have stated, I started to believe that the rest of the world was no longer laughing, but pitying you guys.

Now, I think Trump* is working hard at making the U.S. and international pariah. Soon to be ostracized and isolated because the rest of the world just doesn't want to deal with this shiat anymore.

Good job Donnie!

Considering the mistreatment of their journalists, Australia ought to enact trade sanctions and boycott US goods. It's how other nations deal with authoritarian, tyrannical governments.

/better stock up on Jäger Meister just in case

So the cop that assaulted the cameraman will be arrested and brought up on charges, right?

So those of you who have never lived in Oz have no idea how truly, epically bad this was. Everyone that doesn't pay for extra gets like 5 basic channels. Channel 7 is one of those. Sunrise is one of the more popular news shows.

This happened live. I can damn near farking guarantee half the nation of Australia was glued to it live at the time it happened.

He pulled another Trump. Everything he does makes things worse. His "show of strength" photo op has already turned against him. The church came out and condemned it. All the news outlets are reporting his attack on "peaceful protesters".

I'm starting to think this idiot is in over his head.  100 miles over his head.
