Subversive asshole.
Clear and present danger to the American people.

If you think this is unprecedented, you haven't been paying attention. What Trump is doing is perfectly consistent and logical. What if the whole point is to weaken the state as much as possible, and tear apart as much of it as possible? Now all of Trump's behavior makes sense, doesn't it?

It's almost as if someone who wants to kneecap America has horrifying kompromat on him.

When you call the protestors thugs, and you're the President, you clearly don't give a shiat about your own citizens and gave the police carte blanche.

Fark off and die already.

I think we really will improve as country when trump is gone. It will be like when your precious son totals your 1967 Mustang fastback. The shiat is everywhere, no one is happy. But then it becomes the funny story you tell after the disaster. The event demonstrates your strength.

Trump gone fixes the immediate problem, but long term does nothing. He's just a symptom.

63 million people voted for him. 60+ million will happily vote for him in November.

As much as I can understand this sentiment, I totally disagree with it.

George W. Bush started a bullshiat war based on lies that killed more than 4,000 U.S. servicemen and women and killed more than 100K Iraqis. Miss him? No way!

fark George W. Bush, Donald Trump and the entire Republican Party in their good eye!

My point is that there are a lot - many millions - of people who saw Trump on stage mocking Eric Garner's last words and thought "yeah, this is the guy for me - he says what everyone is thinking."

You completely missed his point there. 60 million americans want all this to happen. They are happy with trump and want to give him 4 more years. They eant chaos and destruction because the nation as a whole has no indulged in their racist, sexist, homophobic and transphobic fantasies, and they want to see it burn to the ground as punishment. That's the problem he's referring to. 60+ million people that need to be deprogrammed out of the "if we can't fly our hate for all to see then burn everything to the ground" mindset.

God I hope you're right. Which brings to mind a favorite quote from Babylon 5:

"Because the alternative is too terrible to consider. Without the hope that things will get better, that our inheritors will know a world that is fuller and richer than our own, life is pointless, and evolution is vastly overrated."

If and when he is gone, America will stand up, dust of it's jeans, and then think to itself, "Well, glad that's over. Time to keep on keeping on" without so much as a backward glance over it's shoulder.

True. But we cannot assume that the turnout would be identical if we had no electoral college. That would be a game changer of epic proportions, affecting both how our candidates campaigned and how voters would show up.

I certainly WANT to believe blue outnumbers red, but my faith in humanity is lacking.

But-but-but we were explicitly all told he was going to single-handedly bring about Peace and prosperity for all, Full employment, Affordable healthcare, education, and day care for those who need it.

It's almost like...the opposite of that in every conceivable way.

All y'all ain't seen nothin yet. Fox & Fiends just basically called him a pussy if he doesn't get his 'best tacticians, best lawyers and best speech writers' together to write him a great (this was the weird part)  bipartisan we're all Americans speech tonight.

I think Fox is actually getting scared. And if trump & those around him were competent it'd be a good idea. But it's gonna be a disaster.

I'm certain it's what someone wanted, but that someone (and I'm not saying kompromat is involved, but I'm not saying it isn't) probably simply fed the Dynamite Shtgibbon a line like "Yeah, do it this way, and let the chips fall where they may. Really, what's the worst that could happen?"

And the Idjit (you can't spell it without DJT) probably didn't think his handler's plan all the way through to how it would boomerang back on him. He seems the sort not to think clever plans all the way through. And he surrounds himself not with advisors or experts but appeasers, who aren't going to stop him.

Honestly, I'm surprised this took as long as it did.
