He's not even a villain protagonist.

They hate him, but they are themselves killers.

It's a twist that doesn't really stand up to scrutiny.

We actually took the family to a local restaurant yesterday, kids 18th birthday and all, and my wife, after looking into the large window into the kitchen, said she never felt so safe eating at a restaurant seeing that all the kitchen staff were wearing masks and gloves while preparing the food and hope they continue to wear mask if/when this covid19 passes.

I doubt i'll be going out again any time soon.  I went to a restaurant a week ago after opening, the first time in what, 3 months sitting at a table?  and yes it was very "social distanced".  it also just felt awkward and kind of made me sad.

Not to mention that when the sun shies on these 2-person greenhouses, it would get unbearably hot.  Hello, warm beer!
At least it would keep the food warm.

No, I'm pretty sure the whole dining out experience is pretty much gone forever.

I personally thought they were the best. Put a little fan in them for some airflow and they'd be perfect. Would be hot af in the dead of summer though, so maybe a little AC unit and tinted windows might help too.

I agree, this just seems like a gimmick.   Illinois opened up outdoor eating this weekend and I never felt "unsafe" and everything was pretty spread apart.  Nobody came and spat in my face so I'm not worried.

For many restaurants in the U.S., business will still be lower, so taking a section of the parking lot and installing tables with generously sized umbrellas, misters, and fans is probably the best tack.  Just balance between the need for parking and need for seating until you have the right balance.

It doesn't work for crowded cities, but those are on fire anyway, so it's a moot point.

One of the greatest strengths of the feels is that your feels organ probably isn't functioning correctly. A properly functioning feels organ feels that what it feels is more important than what your feels organ feels.

It's quite simple actually. No need for facts or figures, statistics or observantions. Feelings are what is correct.

I simply do not understand why people feel that they can't get that through their head.

Just shut them all down. For our safety of course. Our new and sound anti-social rules are the only way our society can continue to thrive. For the safety and security of all in this society we all must be anti-social.

It's really not that difficult.

These all look like places that I can't afford to eat at, and would leave hungry because the portion sizes appear to be bite sized.

I'll just grab a "to-go" order from the Gyro place down the street instead.

Simmer down there, feely mcfeelerson.  I wear a mask everywhere I go, so did the servers.  The facts say it's HIGHLY unlikely you contract the virus from it being left on a surface and I wasn't near anyone so I wasn't exactly inhaling their droplets.  You can leave your house and live your life to some degree of normalcy while ALSO being safe.  I simply do not understand why people feel that they can't get that through their head.

What the fark is a feels organ anyway?  God you're an idiot.

Around here most restaurants have been allowed to expand patio space in the parking lot, or streets have been closed.  The whole experience was still a little strange, but it definitely felt good to go out to eat again and I hope it helps restaurants make enough cash so they still exist when (if?) this is all over.

None of that looks remotely enjoyable for anyone involved. I'm not saying those are unreasonable precautions in the middle of a pandemic, but... Well, I didn't think anything could make me less willing to go to a restaurant during a pandemic, until I saw this. Sorry restaurant workers/owners, but I think you're just doomed to get the short end of the stick.
