holier than thou'ness attitude, on the goodness of Trump, who did the SAME THING MULTIPLE TIMES!

I will never understand these people who think that confessing their betrayal of their faith makes them more Christian then the rest of us.

I notice that they weren't very specific on when during the 1970's Phil became such a godly Christian.  The woman's 45 years old, so that knocks out at least half of the decade.

Oh... this asshole that's part of the water fowl scam artists. Meh. Of course he's a hypocrite

"has a 45-year-old daughter from a decades-ago affair"

I'm guessing at least 4.5 decades

45?  Considering what he's talked about, I'd expect that means her mother is about 57... and perhaps a relative of his.

As an adopted person, I will never search out my bio family because I fear being related to something like this.

IIRC-it was later in the decade and it took a few years to fully set.

If you read TFA-the wife said the situation wouldn't surprise her at all. Back then he was a hard-partying fraternity boy who didn't give a shiat about anything.

Because when they do it, they are "confessing their sins". Once they have done that, "God has forgiven them".

It's a bullshiat game they play with themselves so they don't have to actually practice what they preach.

I've never  cared for them or their show. But even I have read and seen on tv that he has fully admitted to being a drug user drunk and womanizer up until about 1980. So...questioning his Christian life now is a bit disingenuous.

Now if one pops up that happened since the time he decided to be a jedi for jesus then I will glady point out his hypocrisy

I don't understand what the word "faith" means. People are always yammering about their Christian faith, but  99.9999% of the time they stop short of doing much about it. "Give what you have to the poor and come follow me." That's part of the Christian faith. "Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' will enter the kingdom of heaven." That's also part of the Christian faith.

I've never understood what Christian bullies imagine they're doing. They don't believe strongly enough in the reality of their faith to actual change what they're doing other than tempering their hormones and grumping that others ought to, too. (I suspect that falling hormone levels had more to do with their "faith" than spiritual conversion. But then, I don't believe in spiritual conversions.)
