If Amazon was the seller and not a third party, yes.

I feel so bad for these workers. Really for anybody that has to work outside their home right now. I can see the same thing happening to them that happened to soldiers post 9/11.

Hey, come stand on the dugout at Fenway and take a bow! Great. Now back to the farking desert with ya.

Watch sellers. If you're going through an Amazon provider you should be okay. Otherwise it could be Ebay

It depends. The last time I was going to return something I realized it was going to cost about the same to ship it back as it cost and decided just to keep it, but it was only about $20.

Other things have been free to ship back.  Like others said, watch who sells it and check their return policy first.

And don't buy one of those cheap tablets from them.  They just suck and I should have returned it but I didn't and now I'm stuck with it.  No, I should never have bought it in the first place.  At least the tablet was less than $100.

/Not posting with the cheap tablet from Amazon because it's broken right now and probably will cost more to get fixed than it's worth.

RatMaster999: On the other hand, I'm working an essential job, and all I've gotten for showing up every day is the work of 3 more people since the company laid off 70-ish% of my division...

So you're told you are an essential worker, and then you're wasting your work time doing non-essential work? That's farked up.

Look we get it, Amazon wants you there because you facilitate them making money and you only care to work there for the money as well, so your right isn't any hero's in sight just a bunch of people who have to work for a living like the rest of us, get over yourself.

You're part of the problem.  You're working for a living, and the conservative billionaires have you convinced to turn on your fellow workers out of some hard work/success/Puritan work ethic fairy tale.  Because you hopefully earn enough through your hard work to successfully live and eat and care for your health in your area, with your skillset, you assume that everyone else can successfully do the same, if they just work harder.

So, you sit there, and do the work of the Bezos for him, although your financial circumstance are nothing like his, and he would grind your industry into the dust if he thought he could make a little more profit from your hard work.  These workers should expect more than to be used as a cheap theatrical prop, as he continues to exploit their health/safety without adequate compensation.

Unless of course you were being sarcastic, in that case I'll shut up.

I just ordered my second PC off of Amazon because I believe in second chances but they'll probably screw me again.

You can take a lot of stuff back to Kohl's as they have a return agreement.

Half the stuff I've returned they said to just keep, especially if it was broken.

"After all, Amazon couldn't do it without them."

It's scary, but a good union can help if you want that fight.

I can work from home but no one is in the office. 100 yards away we have a warehouse doing manual labor, trying to stay separated, and likely the choice of show up or quit. They are mostly represented, I am not. Point being, they have had strikes before, and it looks like they are working safely to me. I'm certain those are related.

If you prove paying you 2/hr is better than not being able to ship, that's capitalism at work. You can wait for the law to change, that's Democracy and it takes a lot longer.

Oooh, that quote has everything. Starting with the rugged individual followed by some boostraps/f*ck you I got minecombo, and for a finish, some good ol' STFU GBTW!
Everything that makes America a shiathole full of uncaring, disgusting pigs in one post.

Amazon could've taken the millions they spent on advertising how "heroic" their workers are, and given it to their heroic workers. Instead of the paltry wages they give them instead.

Uh-oh, this doesn't sound very much like "orange website bad!" to me, friend.

The safe word is "free two day shipping."
