US law? What does Donnie care about US law? Just do it, and let someone else take care of the 'details' after he heads to St. Petersberg for the fall...

Enforcement of this law would have to be through US courts and even an early win could be appealed to the SCOTUS.  I think they will back Trump to the hilt.

They're the 'farking ingrates'? Our government is abandoning them because our idiot manchild of a President needs someone to blame for his monumental failure to handle this pandemic.

/Yeah, yeah, I know. To a cultist, God-King Trump can do no wrong, therefore the WHO are obviously the bad guys.

If we want to restore the SLIGHTEST INCH of international credibility when this bullshiat is over, the US needs to pass legislation or an amendment to FORCE the executive branch to obey treaties unless dissolving our participation in them is voted on by Congress or the Senate.  Would that require a Constitutional amendment?

Some way a compromised President can't just withdraw from NATO unilaterally without a cohort of traitors putting their names to the action too.

When you look at the required contributions to the WHO, the US pays 3 times the next highest country.

Candidates and personal likability mean nothing to me.

Equitability and sustainability do.  And both parties suck donkey dick in that regard.  Republicans wither their tax cuts undermine that and Democrats couldnt author a sustainable social program if their lives depended on it.  Yes.. they are that inept.

Essentially, yes.

The case was rejected for consideration because the issue concerned how foreign affairs were conducted between Congress and the President, and was essentially political, not judicial; therefore, it was not eligible to be heard by the court

We evolved from and remain social primates.  That's a fact.  You are an outlier, like the juvenile baboon who can't rise in rank in the troupe and get the girls, so he lingers on the fringes of the troupe in self-imposed half-exile.  He matures into a maladjusted adult who goes off on his own to win a troupe or get killed.  There's a lot of messed up psychology going on in that critter's noggin being a social critter who doesn't fit in his own society.  But in the main, humans are social animals, and that's a fact.

no one forced you to sit and eat at the restaurant.  What big bad bully forced the US into this agreement?  How did we get here?  Did this happen overnight? Did the prices on the menu change between when you sat down and received the bill?

If you think we should leave the WHO, fine.  Pay your current bill, don't leave a tip and be gone.  Are we really scoffing at 100 million?  that is only 0.00005% of the $2 Trillion Cares Act that just passed.  have every MAGA fan donate $1-5 and that will more than cover the bill.

Has anybody ever actually seen proof that Trump donates anything?  Ever?  If justice really plays out, somebody will end up getting a team of forensic accountants to go over every bit of his books.  It will be amazing.  There will be whole semesters of accounting and law enforcement classes teaching about his books.

No, I was a kid with ADHD whose parents moved 6 times through public school and found that friends were a worthless pursuit so I took it upon myself to learn everything i could about anything i could get my hands on.  Humans are all about frivolity and i would rather spend time making things with my own 2 hands rather that wasting my time partying, etc and not learning or being productive.

I married a woman that is equally independent with her hobbies and it works out great.

I still have so many aspirations for my life.. and they dont in involve others unless it's on my terms.  Making furniture isnt a group activity, neither is working in the yard, neither is robotics or reading.

I've been an advocate of dissolving and reforming institutions every 15-20 years for a long time now.. to stop entrenchment and to get fresh bodies to kill the bureaucratic weight.

Only if you think we are incapable of evolving and are stuck.

If anything, this pandemic has helped us reconsider our social life choices and it will never return to what it was.  I've had so many people tell me that they never realized how many unnecessary things they were wasting their lives on.

So we better adapt or there will be a hell of a lot more death.
