Not sure how "sappy" it is... she seemed pretty upset about it.

She looks half the size I expected. Can the story be true?

How do you not realize that you're pregnant?

FrancoFile: How do you not realize that you're pregnant?

It actually explains this in the article.

Well, it gives some explanation.  But several extra pounds of future baby, which also moves around, and you just think it's some extra weight from eating too much?

Lucky her. I had something that turned out to not be a kidney stone and after a battery of tests now they are looking for cancer. MRI is next week.

Yikes. Hope you feel better soon and get some better news next week, Farker!

And a pregnancy belly isn't soft and flabby like a too many nachos belly. It's a firm round pooch with a belly button like a turkey thermometer.

And what about the vomiting? The constant urination? Huge boobs? Giant leaky nipples?

I know, I know, Fark is not my personal erotica site.

I'm terrified of somehow birthing a baby without knowing I was pregnant. Luckily, women in my family become bloated, rashy, vomit cannons from the moment of conception until the day of birth. Hard to miss even with the deep, deep denial some of these women must be living in to "not know" they were pregnant.

We had a neighbor who was almost full-term before anyone could tell she was pregnant. She was seriously thin, and a marathon runner, so she didn't pooch a lot. She even mentioned only needing to go up a couple of sizes in clothes... she didn't even buy maternity clothes. I'd imagine it's similar for ballerinas. Plus, with the past few months' quarantine, she'd gain a bit of weight, and may  not realize it. Plus, with the continued bleeding during the pregnancy... even if it's irregular, it may seem OK.  *shrugs* The chick who was a marathon runner did know she was pregnant (she'd been trying, so was checking tests a lot). Abnormal? Sure. But not terribly impossible. When you're underweight, weird things happen to the body.
