called an employee at Lilly Barrack on Paseo to buy expensive jewelry. The jewelry was bought over the phone, but the employee went to the store, got the jewelry and placed it outside the door of the store where someone who knew the governor picked it up.

*Gasp*! I bet masks were worn, too! The nerve!

rudemix: I suppose it was needed to emphasize the D in democrat here. Each day we're subjected to the hypocrisy and corruption of Republicans. Not stressing the D here would have lead people to assume it was just more trash behavior from the GOP.

The Republicans, in general, "want to open up the economy".  So, if they cheat, that is seemingly consistent with that.  But, the Democrats, in general, want to keep things locked down.  So, if they cheat, that is seemingly a bigger deal, doing things that they can do but are ordering "Average Joe" to not do.

It's unfair, of course, but that's the way an neutral voter would probably see it.
