called an employee at Lilly Barrack on Paseo to buy expensive jewelry. The jewelry was bought over the phone, but the employee went to the store, got the jewelry and placed it outside the door of the store where someone who knew the governor picked it up.

*Gasp*! I bet masks were worn, too! The nerve!

I suppose it was needed to emphasize the D in democrat here. Each day we're subjected to the hypocrisy and corruption of Republicans. Not stressing the D here would have lead people to assume it was just more trash behavior from the GOP.

The Republicans, in general, "want to open up the economy".  So, if they cheat, that is seemingly consistent with that.  But, the Democrats, in general, want to keep things locked down.  So, if they cheat, that is seemingly a bigger deal, doing things that they can do but are ordering "Average Joe" to not do.

It's unfair, of course, but that's the way an neutral voter would probably see it.

The governor refused an on-camera interview but has a different version of the story. In an email from a governor spokesman, he says that "Lujan Grisham did call an employee, saying they had a longstanding personal relationship. The employee came here [Lilly Barrack], got the jewelry and took it home, left it outside their home and then someone came and picked it up."

Um.... Am 's "different version" is the same farking version...I missing something here? This sounds like the governor's spokesperson only changed where the package was left. Jesus, people in this outfit need to come up with better "alternative" versions of their story.

A Democrat can't scratch his ass without Fox Propaganda telling its zombies to be outraged. But let's never talk about the giant steaming pile of elephant schitt that is the modern Fascist Republican Party.

Not that the chance was ever very high, but this pretty much demolishes any chance that Lujan Grisham will be Biden's Vice Presidential pick.

Welcome to the New Mexico GOP.  A mix of religious nutjobs, Brokeback Cowboys, and greedy oil families.
