(Vail Daily)   Wow, 29,000 feet vertical. So, like 2 weeks? How about you try to ski every day for over 3 years? Some guy did it   (vaildaily.com) divider line

Cool challenge if you're so inclined.

I would settle for trying to ski every day for 3 days at this point.

My world looks much more inviting when I'm facing downhill.

Some Guy does everything. And he's got like 50 million blogs, which all suck.

Yeesh- I was looking at the Strava "7500M in a month" challenge and decided to not bother.  Don't feel like adding 50% more up.

Mad props to these folks.

80 laps going up and down 700 feet?

Good thing physicists will tell you that he didn't do any work.

My 12 mile gravel ride with 400 feet of elevation change on Sunday was rough for me. Cannot fathom 29k in a day. I'll be lucky to hit 29k in a lifetime.

Hmmm. I take the stairs at work every day (back before the pandemic). About 90' up then down, twice a day. So 180'/day four days per weeks is 720'. So I hit an Everest every 40 weeks without even noticing it. Even paired with 3 miles of walking isn't keeping me thin.

Living in Florida the only hills I ride are when I go over drawbridges.  The one near me is 50 feet high, so it takes almost 600 times for me to Everest. I'm not doing that in one session.
