What's next on the derp parade? Remember "pantsing" in grade school? I'm waiting for the first case of some Plague Rat ripping off the face mask of another shopper for Reasons. Mark my words, it will come to that.

It's OK, Conservatives.  You will be happy to know that businesses can discriminate against LGBTQ people ALL THE TIME.  So it's all about perspective.  While you may experience some inconvenience right now, you can be secure that somebody else you don't like is hurt on a regular basis.

And hurting people you don't like is what being a conservative is all about, amitie?

Feeding tubes will be the hot new thing at restaurants this year.

Attempting to rip my mask off is clearly a threat to my safety.  I will not hesitate to give that person a second amendment response.

when businesses have a cash-only policy

For bars to open around here they have to have a contactless payment system (start taking Apple Pay or Google Pay). "Cash only" is going to go away.

i know this is hard for you.  living in a changing progressive world and all.  but roughly half the states consider sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes for discrimination protection.  many of these "store won't X for gay/lesbian couple" are in states where it is, in fact, just as illegal to refuse to serve someone b/c they are gay as it would be to not serve them b/c they are black or female.

otoh the number of states where it is illegal to not serve someone b/c they refuse to wear appropriate attire while inside your store is zero.  and based on pending legislation will remain zero for the forseeable future.

Luckily for me, there's still no policy requiring pants.

Yeah but your desire to have a safe, functional society is NOT more valid than my desire to be a bigot!

In addition to the many many many things you're consistent wrong about, 'contactless' doesn't just mean Apple Pay or Google Pat or even Samsung.

When it comes town to the health and safety of their employees, heir store, their rules. If you don't want to wear a mask, then go be a Trumphole somewhere else.

Yeah, right after I added that comment I remembered the NFC in credit cards.

When that was first rolled out I used a ball peen hammer to smash the NFC chip in any of my cards that came with it because I didn't want it used to remotely steal my information. What Apple offers is more secure (required Touch or Face ID to authorize purchases).

Sitting on the front porch, Meter reader just drove up the driveway and exits his vehicle.  I told him I don't want anyone in my yard without a mask on, so he got back in his truck and drove off.  I should put up a sign.

Masks are for those who are afraid.   Haven't worn one yet, and never stopped working.  Just stay away from orgies, don't hug, and bump elbows.
