One of the things Uber would like to happen is for its services to be made legal in Hong Kong

Ya think?

America has salivated over the Chinese market since forever.  The Chinese know this.  And they play us for saps every time.

Now they can disrupt China, just like the protestors in HK are doing. And how is that going?

I'd feel bad for anyone forced to move from Singapore to Hong Kong.

That would be analogous to moving from San Diego to Dallas.

I disagree. It's more like moving from South Beach Miami to Dallas. Singapore is HUMID.

Ah, another business demanding "certainty."  Which is code for having the regulations changed to favor your interests.

There's a lot of cities to compare Hong Kong to, but Dallas is not one of them :)

Having been to SG and lived in HK, I disagree. It's more like moving from Boston to NY - weather aside. They're both humid as hell, HK has more hustle.
