It's pretty obvious that can't e true. The resulting product would be way too fatty for a McDonald's hamburger.

You know how certain things get contracted to Blakwater or Academii or whatever they're called now?
I can imagine private contractors that get paid to troll websites and social media*. Now imagine them getting paid by the other side as well.
Now all they have to do is troll themselves and react offensively to the trolling.
They'll have proof for both sides just how well they are doing.

Oh FFS. They're hamburgers made out of beef. It's not like they come from some undisclosed location in secret shipments made only at night. You can trace a McDonalds burger right back to the head of cattle that wanted to kill you and your family.

If in 1982, you would have traveled back in time from 2022 and explained what social media was going to be, how it would be abused by both elite national intelligence agencies and the "Cult of the Amateur" average nut job citizens and how it would end up being the real reason for the world's destruction, I would have stopped playing Ms. Pac-Man for a second and looked at you funny.

Back in my day, the word on the street-or in the cafeteria-was that McBurgers were made of worms. That rumor, at least, was unlikely to be true, since worm meat would be vastly more expensive than beef.

I absolutely believe it's 100% beef.
Very low grade beef.
Mostly sourced from Argentina.
Not necessarily from any specific part of the cow.
Not from any specific breed of cow.
Processed and frozen

Considering the point that the nuggets are made of beaks and feathers, the burgers are probably lips and assholes. I mean, they both taste like shiat to me so I would not be surprised.

Where the hell are you guys getting McD patties that are brown and resemble cooked burger?  The last few I got were more greyish..  more like steamed meat than fried.

I kind of want some McDonald's hamburger right now, it's been a while. I do not drive so I can't go to a drive-thru.

I've eaten plenty of homemade hamburgers in the last few months but it's not the same. I did find out about 3-2 1 burger sauce though which is nice. (3 part mayo, 2 part ketchup, 1 part mustard, vary to taste)

i recall it being something along the lines of "McDonalds Hamburger meat can be comprised of up to 10% mealworms while still being called beef" or something to that effect. I think it was a reporter who took an FDA limitation (up to 10% not beef) to an extreme conclusion, but at the time, yeah, it made sense to a kid and explained a lot about the taste of the things.

The weird thing is that we've invented all these nonsense urban legends to explain the feeling we have that McDonald's beef is terrible and scary, when the real reason- that it comes from feedlot animals that live in tiny, dirty stalls eating nothing but GMO corn and have to be fed a steady diet of antibiotics because they spend their entire lives standing in a knee-to-belly-height slurry of spilled grain and liquid feces- is common knowledge.
