The episode about the One Ring Prop makes a lot more sense in this context.

So they microchipped all the props.
And Bill Gates was one of the notable people who had a cameo on the show.
And the last episode of Big Bang Theory aired in 2019.

It all leads to CoVid, people.  Can't you see?

There were a lot of rather valuable collectables in that apartment.

Whenever I catch a moment or two of the show, my eye is drawn to that cool Spirit of St Louis field radio on the shelf. If I was on that set, I would have stolen that.

I have a friend who works in a set design group at a movie studio. They use RFID tags to track everything.

It''s actually a super cool system they have. There's a 3D program they use to lay out new sets (or call up old ones). They design the set, place lamps, chairs, go through all the available coffee table styles available in the warehouse or whatever and then a list is sent to the warehouse.

Everything gets picked, wrapped up, and delivered, then they dress the set.  They know exactly what they have, the director and crew can see what the set will look like beforehand, make changes for lighting, colors, blocking, etc. before stuff gets there. She was saying they can dress a set in a fraction of the time than they could before since they basically have a map of what item number goes where and there's no guesswork about what might look better.

If they need to re-create a set, for reshoots or because it's not used a lot, they call it up in the program, list gets sent, and the place will look exactly like it did before. It'll have the exact same lamps in the exact same place.

They also know exactly what's available to them in the warehouse, so no coming up with a design and find out that the big red leather sofa is gone.

So anyway, CSB and all.  But my guess is that they were using a system similar to this.
