Sending the MMWR links about church transmission to my church leadership. They may already have them. We have several CDC employees who are church members.

4. Spending the day at a popular beach or pool: low risk

Watch out for crowds at entry points and bathrooms.

Well, that's easy.  Just pee in the water.

Bottom line:

Stay the hell away from Trump cultists who think they're either immune or that it's noble to die for the economy.

That last part should read, "(I)t's noble for you to die for the economy."

Every time I mention that going to the beach is low risk, farkers assure me that it is quite risky. They know better than the experts and scientists, just ask them.

Low risk as long as it isn't crowded. Of course depends on what kind of beach you go to and when.

I've been to ones here in NC where we virtually have the whole beach to ourselves, but I've also been to one in NJ where you had to actually look around to find a place big enough to put a beach blanket down.

A respected ocean scientist - with a very relevant area of study - seems to have been instrumental in raising concern that breezes, common on beaches, would spread coronavirus further and mean that even standard 6' distancing would not be enough on beaches.
