Man I used to love Michelbob's BBQ when I went to Naples, Florida in the 90s. I used to bring home bottles of their sauce to last me for a year til I'd get back to re-up. I eventually got burned out on it but dang that was good back then.

"What are you drinking there?"
"An ice-cold Michelbob!"
"You mean Michelob?"
*checks label* "No."
"What have I told you about buying beer out of vans at abandoned gas stations?"
"I'll go blind?"
"You'll go blind."
"But I got you some Bubweiser. Drink up!"

Back in the 70s, that was the high class working-class beer.

The night, it belongs to michelob.

Honestly, Mick Light was a really good light beer.  I could never tell a difference between it and amstel light, and it was a good half the price.

I say was, because I havent bought it since they changed the classic teardrop-looking bottles, as well as never seeing it anywhere even though its listed on their website.  of course theres 10 different breeds of mick ultra on the shelf.. just no room for the ol' classic.

I went to a Thai restaurant with my parents in The Villages last Xmas and they had Michelob.  I had to get it.  It's just a regular beer.  I don't hate it, but you never see it in stores anyway.

"Michelbob" would be a great drag name.

regular or light? because i swear 10 years ago when i would buy it every couple months, light tasted really good.   Original Coors is now the go-to cheap beer when it sounds right (generally in the summer).

Regular.  And not in the cool bottle. I was just amazed to see it. I haven't seen it in a store in at least 5 years.

I went to a Korn Ferry Tour event (former Web.com) here in Colorado last summer. The main beer area out on the course was sponsored by Michelob Ultra. At various times the beer reps would come through and give everyone a free beer.

By mid afternoon on Thursday/Friday, they had way more beer than people. So one free beer became, several. and then some more. And then some to take home.

Hey, it was a KFT event, people really don't flock to those things.
