Some comments from Fox News blog concerning the crash

If people are going to post videos of this, the leas they can do is have the courtesy to speak American so we can understand them.

....and your cry's shall go unheard in your day of affliction. (Unheard by God, that is)

The engine quit and the pilots immediately broke out the prayer rugs...

dam its a good day

Did anyone go and count Iran's missile stash, to make sure 1 wasn't missing?

even allah doesn't like its worshippersSo close. I'm sure they can pick off the last two for a spare here.

From the looks of the wreckage I'm shocked (but pleasantly so) that anyone could have survived it.  Various sources are reporting up to 4 survivors in the hospital.  I'm also still very worried casualties on the ground may be bad, I'd be happy to be wrong about that as well.

None of those comments surprises anyone here in the least. They will have to close comments and remove them within a few hours. And then their viewers will scream about censorship. Right before they go to church.

Any idea if the Bank of Punjab had any panama papers style connections?

Because if it did it would be very interesting that the plane that had its president onboard went down

They said 7 survived on CNN a little while ago.

It appears they did a gear up touch and go landing where the engines hit the ground, they then tried a go around, and the damaged engines failed. THere is a picture after they started the go-around that appears to show damage to the bottom of the engine nacelles.

That's what it looked like from that one photo to me, also the RAT was deployed, that's a little generator fan for use when you lose your electric power.  HOWEVER in the CCTV final crash footage they appear to have the gear down.  So if the gear were functional, why in the world were they not down?  Modern aircraft will yell at you about that, i.e. "TOO LOW, GEAR.  TOO LOW, GEAR"

The whole thing has me puzzled a bit.  I can't even think of a prior incident to compare this to.
