Every year, every team. Instant dynasty. How quickly people forget how hard it is.

They must be talking about playing Madden because there's no way that any NFL team is going to be playing this Fall. What happens if someone tests positive and everyone that they were in contact with has to go into a two week quarantine? Are the teams going to forfeit those games? I'm sorry NFL fans, but you're going to have to wait at least a year to cheer on people getting CTE live on television.

I find it really unlikely the NFL is going to have a 16 game season.

16-0 and no-hitter aren't mutually exclusive.

Yeah. It takes 205 people, including coaches, trainers, TV workers, facilities workers, etc. to put on a top flight soccer match. With football, you're already halfway there with the two rosters. And each person you add is a whole nother possible source of contagion.

There is direct contact in every play and players are sweating, bleeding, vomiting, peeing in their pants and in rare cases shiatting. And they think they're gonna be playing in September?

I've loved the Chiefs since I was five.

There's no chance they're going 16-0 with that schedule. Stop it. Now.

I hear Brady is taking immunity vitamins. Why not provide these to all the players?

Undefeated for an entire season is not very likely given the high level of competitiveness and that even the best team out there on paper can have unlucky breaks, injuries, and other things happen to them.

And then they'll lose the Superbowl to the Giants?

Since '89 for me. Even if there are 16 games, there is no chance at 16-0. One, the schedule. Two, at 14-0 there is a real chance we bench Mahomes for the playoffs.

Twenty percent of the time the better team loses, so things gravitate toward the mean. A team that should go 16-0 on paper should go 13-3 in the real world. A 0-16 team should go 3-13.

A very valid point. Oddly, going 0-16 is statistically, iirc, just as difficult as going 16-0.

One 16-0 (Dolphins), two 0-16 (Lions and Browns).

I have lost count of how many times I have watched that Superbowl. I'd say between 5 and 7. I'm due for another.

They play the Dolphins at some point and I would love to see Mahomes and Tagovailoa both throwing dimes.

/let's be real, that's a guaranteed win for the Chiefs

Dolphins went 17-0 in 1972.  Pats went 18-0 and lost in the SB.
