Sounds like something a sycophant would say.

So your ability to perceive intelligence, leadership, and strategic thinking is just as sucky as your ability to weigh evidence of religious beliefs.

/ 80% of Evangelicals voted for Trump, which does more to discredit their religion than it does to endorse Trump's character

I've known about Trump pretty well since I was about 7 years old.

He's like the rapey uncle your parents warn you to stay away from. No one has ever once suggested he is anything less than a sleazy used car salesman until the GOP made him a God.

Those are some seriously f*cked up people.

I wouldn't say the Adversary sent him either, because Satan would send somebody smart and good looking.  Charming.  Trump is as charming as a gas station restroom toilet seat.

Wow, that would have made a great satirical post.

Creepy AF as anything else.

Way to insult gas station toilet seats, asshole.

That's the thing, I remember as a child that trump was a joke, a person that my conservative parents held up as a thing of disdain and an object of mockery. His only purpose was to show us the exact ways one should not conduct themselves in society, a creature so flawed as to serve as humanity's best case study in how not to live your life.

I recall Bloom County put his brain in the body of a dead cat, and used that as a running gag throughout the strip's final years. No one wrote editorials demanding that the strip be cancelled because he was to distinguished a public figure (But Tammy Faye Baker and Dan Quayle both got letters).

He was in a Pizza Hut commercial that specifically mocked him for being too stupid to know how to eat pizza, and a separate Domino's commercial where he was to stupid to know how much pizza cost.

And somehow, somehowthis moron, this funhouse mirror of competence is the person that was anointed by your god?!?! How terribly low are your expectations for an almighty god? A literally omnipotent being what, spent all the good bits on Jesus, so it had to assemble trump out of what they had laying around in the junk drawer?

Fork this guy, and anyone who listens to him.

I am grateful for one thing regarding Trump, nobody and I mean nobody has done more to erode the impact, voice, and influence of Evangelicals and religion. While there has been a downward spiral for organized religion that goes back decades, Trump and the sycophantic support was like adding nuclear detonation to an existing fire. As one who would leave to see these childish beliefs go the way of the Dodo or Easter Bunny, this has been the one and only shining light through this ordeal. I firmly believe we are closer than ever to having the first candidate in a Presidential debate tell us he is a critical thinker and thus can not believe in magical invisible sky wizards and actually gain votes.

Get Trump out of  the White House, and evangelicals get dealt a fatal blow as a political force.

Pretty soon now the "television christians" will be claiming that god is cleaning the world of the baby boom generation, because after the WWII they had sex out of wedlock and spawned all the bastards who are now a burden on the US Treasury with their Medicare and Social Security.

I'd be willing to bet even money that he's getting paid.

There are two reasons to support Trump. One is when you lack insight, integrity, and empathy, the "basket of deplorables." These are the people you see going to Walmart strapped with firearms just because. They have a poor grasp of the shape of the issues that are actually causing their anger and have been fed a steady diet of scapegoats.

The other? Some campaign or SuperPAC is paying you a million dollars. I read an article that said that Tomi Lahren and Diamond and Silk were center-left until they found out they could make a lot more money shilling for the hard right.

So, yeah, I'm guessing he gets money.
