No mention of the acoustic cover of Massive Attack's "Teardrop" that played during the Fathers' Day NBA Finals montage?

That was a very cool and obscure choice, and fit the emotional sequence really well. Usually folk rock samples get turned into trip-hop, not the other way around. While that montage was playing, I had the sensation of the tune being familiar and it took me a second to figure out what was going on.

Overall, an excellent series with excellent music selections.

I really liked the use of 'Vengeance' from The Equalizer soundtrack in the last episode as a non-obvious choice.

The soundtrack is absolutely brilliant. Here's the spotify link I shared during the series a few times.

Definitely appreciated seeing the link, and everything on it is great, but I have to point out...

Skee-Lo's "I Wish," wasn't actually part of the series, it was just in the basketball-themed Facebook commercial that frequently aired during the broadcasts. It's a DOPE song that I was stoked to hear, but yeah, I wonder who accidentally put it on that playlist?

Maybe it wasn't an accident?  I wonder if whoever was compiling the Spotify list was a fan of the song and went "It's a great song, fark it, that's enough of a connection, I'm putting it in."

Michael Jeffery Jordan has taken this personally, it's all motivation he needs to dominate the music selections of the next documentary. He just wants to win so bad, he'll punch the music guy in the eye and cry about it 20 years later.

I really appreciated them going with non-obvious songs.  It really annoys me when films and TV shows do nothing but go with the most obvious or on-the-nose songs available, it just comes off as lazy and hamfisted.  And thank you once again for posting the Spotify link throughout the series' run.

I don't remember any of the music from the series, so in my opinion it was perfect.
/ No offense to you guys who like the music.  I realize you're free to like what I didn't notice.

I haven't finished it, but I'll be slightly disappointed if Sinatra's The Last Dance doesn't get used.

/maybe just feel like it was a missed opportunity
