The front, the back, and the middle?

The online part too, at least according to the going on 7 weeks delayed order I played for stuff that was in stock at the nearest location.  two weeks ago I put in a query to find out what's up and they haven't gotten back to me either.

I understand things are not normal, but no other online store front I've been using has been that delayed and that unresponsive.

I'm not going to any garden centre that doesn't control the number of people in it or doesn't have enough spacing and traffic control. Around me, Walmart and Home Depot are well configured, Kent is OK, and all of the popup parking lot ones suck and won't get my business this year (or ever, honestly. fark em). The upper class garden centres are good but I'm not paying their prices.

I ordered stuff from HomeDepot and they had it on my front porch at 6:50am the next morning.

Same, in fact I've been using their same day option and its been working out great.  Sure its more then standard shipping but there's really no waiting at all and no concerns about where the stuff is coming from.

And all of that's rendered moot if your staff is apathetic, your customers belligerently ignorant, and your business is booming because you think this allows you to stay open in spite of a pandemic.

Why have display toilets out, if not for customers to 'test' them?

OkieDookie: Why have display toilets out, if not for customers to 'test' them?

Pro tip:  1L bottle of water is usually enough to force them to flush, but don't get me started on they're idiotic decision to stock the toilet paper so far away in a completely different department.  If you don't remember that you're in for a very awkward crab walk through the store.  Its downright embarrassing and I kind of think they do that on purpose.

This....of the few times I have needed to go to Home Depot there is a line in paint and people packed nut to butt...I'm guessing all these folks stuck in their homes and doing a lot of painting.

My local garden store has gotten way more of my business for outdoor stuff.

Far better plants with a really well-curated selection of regionals & natives that grow well here & isn't just cookie-cutter crud. Bit pricier, but so worth it.

fark Lowes. Preferred an item online for instore pickup. 3 days later I get a vm saying it was never in stock at that store but they'll do it to me. Great. A week later, a week late the tracking info shows that it was instead delivered to the original store that took my order. Okay... No notification for pickup. A week of emailing customer support goes unanswered. Phone line waits are hours long. Online chat queues equally long but more tolerable. Yup, confirmed that it was shipped there, can't reach store manager, will confirm and send me notification next morning. Great. Repeat again 2 days later. Online chat says yes it's there, go pick it up,confirms address. Drive 45 min to store, call curbside pickup number (store not open to public yet). Nope, isn't there , still at warehouse it supposedly shipped from. I'm sure she's wrong but she won't do anything but tell me what the computer says. Cancel the order. Canadian Tire put it on my doorstop 3 days later.

Yep, my own experience is my first and also last time I'm going to be ordering from that cluster fark.  I'm thinking pretty soon I'll have to just bite the bullet and issue a credit card charge-back against them for the items that haven't showed and they won't respond about.

This was also right before the stories came out about their in-store sales for easter weekend to encourage the plague rats to propagate.  I'd rather halt my business with them based on that one alone.

I abhor the layout of Lowe's, but my last trip to home Depot made me say "fark this shiat, I'm not going to the home Depot anymore, this is a Covid outbreak waiting to happen".

That home Depot had 9 employees come down with coronavirus.
