Don Bolduc just proved he never read the 1st amendment, of which discusses only one non-government profession, a FREE press, which it guarantees.  Something a grade child would know.

But to Repuglicans, only one amendment exists. I'm including a now heavily damaged Federal judiciary in that attitude.

"I'm not a racist person at all. I served 33 years in the military, an institution that was the first to desegregate of any in our society in 1948," he explained to a local radio station. "So I really don't want to hear any noise that gets thrown at me about being a racist because I call this the China coronavirus or the president does, or anybody else does, because it is, you know. And I'm not racist about it."

Suck it up, buttercup.

In fact our Founders (pbut) were close to terrified of the power parties could wield to warp policy.

And if elected, he'd swear an oath to uphold the Constitution.  Then the next day submit a bill to shut down the free press.  And not a single fuse in his brain would blow, no gears would grind, no smoking or googly eyes at the massive contradiction.

I'm not gonna RTFA, but I do think 24 hour news channels need to die. Nobody needs to be glued to CNN or Fox News for 16 hours a day, tweeting randomly as they catch up on their DVR and slurping down Big Mac after Big Mac.

It doesn't matter how non-racist you are, if you start a sentence with 'I'm not a racist but', everything after the 'but' won't matter to anyone because you've put a metaphorical Klan hood on.

While it is a scary idea for the government to shut down the media. The U.S. would be a better place without propaganda networks like Fox News and MSNBC.

That being said, we all know those two networks would be the exceptions to the law. They serve the fanatics that continually push the talking points the wealthy want reinforced.

This is not how you BSAB. As usual, one side is demonstrably worse than the other by several orders of magnitude. But thanks for trying to sound impartial anyway, comrade.

"This topic brings me to that worst outcrop of herd life, the military system, which I abhor. That a man can take pleasure in marching in fours to the strains of a band is enough to make me despise him. He has only been given his big brain by mistake; unprotected spinal marrow was all he needed. This plague-spot of civilization ought to be abolished with all possible speed. Heroism on command, senseless violence, and all the loathsome nonsense that goes by the name of patriotism-how passionately I hate them! How vile and despicable seems war to me! I would rather be hacked in pieces than take part in such an abominable business. My opinion of the human race is high enough that I believe this bogey would have disappeared long ago, had the sound sense of the peoples not been systematically corrupted by commercial and political interests acting through the schools and the Press."

That young man's name?

Albert Einstein.

Conservatives are unAmerican filth and those in military uniform the most filthy.

From opposing the revolution, emancipation, suffrage, civil and gay rights; the history of conservatism is the ongoing story of violent hostility towards liberty and equality. There's a reason Putin's Russia casts itself as a bastion of conservatism.  Because it is. Conservatism is, in one word, antiAmericanism.

Ruin them.  Ruin them all.

Well, golly, if the president suggested injecting bleach to cure COVID-19, would you go run to the store and buy Clorox... never mind, you probably would.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't an actual suggestion.

Note how the author seems to have to clarify the joke here, so I'm skeptical he's able to interpret  actual human discourse.

In November, he joked about locking his "judgmental" wife in a car trunk to see if she is really his best friend. "You take your wife, you take your dog, put them in the trunk of a car," Bolduc suggested at a GOP meeting. "You close the trunk. Walk away, have a cup of coffee, come back in an hour, open up the trunk. And who's going to be happy to see you? Not the wife!" (He made it clear he had not actually done this and advised attendees against doing so.)

I grew up in a cult and they had their own cliches and terms they used that they thought was normal. It kept them all on the same page reinforcing their beliefs among themselves.
That you for proving my point.
Propaganda networks are trying to turn politics into a team sport. Some people hate the Cowboys because Jerry Jones once tried to change the teams name to the "Nike Cowboys" or because he said there is a hole in the roof because god is a cowboys fan. In truth they already hated them because dad was a Giants fan and he needed to hate for reasons. Bot teams are ultimately the same and do the same thing, make the owners wealthier.

If you don't recognize that they appropriated the Fox model for the Democratic party then you really need some self reflection.
It is wall to wall Trump and the Republicans are evil while talking about how the Democrats including Bloomberg are our saviors. There is nothing else on that channel.
FoxNews for Democrats.

That's because 99.9% of the time,  "I'm not racist, but..." is a preamble to a racist statement.

Since the GOP put it out there, use their argument to shut down Fox, OAN, Sinclair, etc after Biden is sworn in.
