The reason given for the impending visit by the Redmond axeman is "in order to maintain consistency across the Microsoft 365 apps for iOS.

Now

Weird, I was expecting the list to be all the smaller or pointless languages spoken by like 7 people, like Esperanto, Elvish and that Star Trek one but nope, those are some pretty majors. And it's based on the phone language and not the app language which is pretty crazy.

It's basically a huge fark you to whole countries. I wonder what the point of it is.

Hah, I just realised I no longer use any Microsoft products nor Apple products, albeit Windows Phone was my favourite OS.

EVERY AMERICAN KNOWS THAT IF THE LOCALS DON'T SPEAK THE LANGUAGE THEN YOU SHOUT AT THEM IN ENGLISH UNTIL THEY DO. WHY DO WE NEED ALL OF THESE FOREIGN LANGUAGES ANYWAY?

"Affected users have been given until the end of June to switch to a supported language"

Learning a whole new language is a lot to ask for in order to use an email client.
