We should challenge Fark to do this thread without the help of Gary Larson.

I can assure you that if there was a big enough chicken, they would tear your ass up.   Those things are cold blooded killers

Just one more reason to eat the cow instead of the lettuce.

Don't let the name throw you, Jimmy. It's not really a floor. It's more of a steel grating that allows material to sluice through so it can be collected and exported.

"Hey, thanks for the free land; here's some shiat lettuce."

True story. I've seen them hunt down mice, frogs, and snakes.

They're like delicious little velociraptors.

I deal with foodborne illnesses as part of my job, and have the most common bugs on my wall.  E coli is pretty darn cute.

I'd say that the world is a pretty filthy place. You take reasonable measures, enjoy what you like, and try not to make yourself crazy worrying about it.

Even a full grown cow can't hurt you by biting you. They have molars on top and the bottom in the back of their mouths for grinding food but they only have teeth on the bottom in front. Horses have upper and lower teeth in front and can bite you pretty hard. Cows cannot. Of course, they can trample you to death.

A cow isn't likely to bite you out of aggression or as a defensive measure, but I guarantee that if you stick your fingers in a cow's mouth it's gonna hurt.

WHY DON'T WE ALL EAT POOP LETTUCE TO BUILD UP HERD IMMUNITY!??!!!?!?!

The vast majority of winter lettuce comes from a series of farms downriver from high density feed lots.

Me, I mostly don't eat lettuce in winter.
