In keeping with the comment, that's sometimes hard to do when you're vertical.

Actually I appreciated the links to both videos.  Prominently bookmarked now.

OK, so we're all on the same page. Launch is still on the 27th. The Flight Readiness Review will wrap-up today and a press conference will be on NASA TV an hour after that. Static Fire is tomorrow (if memory serves me right). The astronauts arrived to Kennedy Wed and have entered the final week of quarantine and prep.

The intent was to watch the thing sit on the pad. It's there. Of course links to it were wrong

More evidence that Musk is totally clueless and has never done anything "remotely intelligent or original".

Am I right, TSLAcharts?

/This is as exciting (to me at least) as the original Mercury flights, but I doubt the TV networks will even carry the feed.

No, but it reminds me of my grandfather who was killed by a V-2 i n WWII.

/It fell off the launch stand and crushed him.

Aww, how sweet.  Well, you're right to feel proud.  You paid for that.  For the privilege of watching one lunatic monetize space for his own gain.

I hope youre still very proud in a few years when you can't look at the stars anymore, because of all the traffic in space, selling you stuff and tracking you.

Cultists will claim that Elon Musk pushed it into vertical position himself with just one hand.

I'd rather have a non-timelapse version. How long did it take to raise the rocket? A minute? 3 hours? Still cool, but it would be cooler to see in real time.

Is that a joke, or was your grandfather actively bombing London?

You've never heard the "my grandfather died during the Holocaust, fell from a guard tower" joke?

/If a v2 fell over it would probably do more than crush you.
