Good. It's about protecting the workers, not him.

It isn't clear to me what a property owner is supposed to do if the president insists on coming there.

Yeah this.

Workers will pretty much be required to attend and they should not be exposed to president plague rat just to keep their jobs.

I kinda love it and I kinda hate it.  Imagine being the poor flunky who has to tell Trump he can't come in, or worse has to leave if he initially agrees and then fails to live up to his word (I know that's a stretch).

I love anything that makes him cry hamberder scented tears but I'm not looking for collateral damage.

Yeah good luck with that. He openly farks everything else up and commits state/federal crimes, you think he's really going to listen?

Whitmer, Nessel, and Benson all don't have any trouble giving Trump shiat.

These women from Michigan are pretty awesome!

The president has no legal authority to come on to a private property unless the owners of said property allow him to. If he insisted on going in despite being told not to he would be trespassing, same as if your neighbor barged in to your kitchen.

He only allows photos as he's entering/exiting - not wearing a mask (because outside! 6' apart!).  Everything inside will be no photos allowed.

Let's keep in mind the unintended consequences of government using legal punishments against people's health care decisions they don't like.

If a private business requires a mask, don't let him in without it.

It's not really any of the government's business

It's so unfair, the government stepping in whenever Evangelicals choose prayer instead of antibiotics for their sick infants.

I would imagine with the throng of reporters that would be covering the visit, Trump's handlers would have this settled before he got to the door. The business owner likely wouldn't come off as the hero, with Trump and the handlers telling the press that "they didn't want to go into that dirty shiathole anyway".

It's a lot easier to prove a parent is actively harming their child by withholding medication than to show somebody has harmed another human being by not wearing a mask.

What's next?  Charging McDonald's workers for handing a cheeseburger to an obese guy?

Would be entertaining. He refuses to wear a mask, assuming the person "in charge" tells him no entry there isn't shiat he can do to force entry.

He says he will, gets inside and doesn't keep it on, they can tell him to get out and he has to leave. He might not care about the law, but the Secret Service agents won't mess around in an "uncontrollable" environment. Worst case they'll try to protect him from himself.

Let's say, for the sake of argument, he refuses to leave. Then the company can refuse to bring his captive audience to him and start tearing down the podium. He wouldn't be able to force the issue at that point. He'd probably go outside and whine like a little baby.

Let's see... "stupid selfish assholes take a shot at the federal government's military because they want to continue to own and trade human beings as industrial machinery" ... "stupid selfish asshole barges through guarded doors because he refuses to be assed to wear a mask"...

Sounds about equally farking ridiculous.  And lets Pacifica take a higher road than just being the first to close their borders, seize assets, and tell Dipshiat Donnie the Mass Murderer to go fark himself simply because it is the correct, scientific, and self-preserving thing to do.

Let's light this candle.

I don't get how people how have so little foresight about this stuff.

It starts with things like masks and then a few years later you're at the cash register checking out and oops you've reached your govt regulated quota of alcoholic beverages this week.  Come back next week

Government doesn't get abusively authoritative over night, it happens small steps at a time.
