I'm dying here. So, who's volunteering to take home the "Last two girls on the dance floor"? caution: may smell strongly of unripe Coyote Melon.

We're not allowed to stream things at work, so I could never listen to this show. My usual method of recording things off the internet when I'm not at home stopped working about six months ago when TuneIn started throwing up this each time it started:

Just about the time I figured out how to get around this problem (open a second browser window for TuneIn and the streaming starts automatically) we got sent home due to the virus.

Okay, is that an actual fog horn, or one of those obscure rare orchestra instruments like a turbo-bass saxophone?

This is one of my favourite cover versions ever.
The best ever is Eureka Machines cover of Folsom Prison Blues. But that's way outside of your time scope

Wow. I don't think I've heard this since it was released! I'm not their biggest fan but that was cool, I'll have to add it to my collection.

I think 80's 12"s were pretty much all good.
Always nice to get the extended mixes.
Doesn't seem to happen anymore

or even full length album versions instead of radio mixes. part of the brilliance of this song (jetsetters ball) is the extended intro with the guitar wail.

Thanks for the Gary Numan, I love his stuff.
CSB: Got quite drunk one Friday night a few years back while listening to old 80s stuff. 3 days later, to my wondrous surprise, his entire catalog of CDs showed up from Amazon.

i am going to modify a comment i made a couple weeks back. if i ever blow my eardrums out, it will be to piroshka's "everlastingly yours".

i am going to add...."or the shivas 'over & over'".
