(Politico)   Well see, Sen. Burr. If you had your sugar daddy bribe Trump, maybe you'd still be Senate Intel Chairman   (politico.com) divider line

Burnt offerings for the Orange God.  Minus the purification rituals.

Ew.  This is just gross.

Burr got taken off the committee because the committee concluded that Russia attacked us in the 2016 election. The corruption is just a convenient excuse that Republicans don't care about at all.

Ultimately, if anyone is going to hold Republicans accountable for corruption it's going to have to be Democrats. But they don't want to do that because that would be too partisan and would have to be enforced across the board, regardless of political party, and they really can't have that, either.

We are full Banana Republic now. This election is going to be a shiatshow, I hope it doesn't get as bad as we all know it could get by then.

It's amazing to see such open corruption. Trouble is, nothing can be done until the entire GOP becomes GooP, then PooP.
F*ck the lot of them.

Campaign Finance Reform...

I don't care if the Demoncraps (har har har) have to stack the court with 20 new Justices.. Overturn that abortion of a law Citizens United, work on the de-balled FEC and WRITE SOME TOUGH LAWS!!!

I won't ask for term limits, because they'll never go for that.

I worked at the NYSE when Intercontinental bought it and took over. I setup Sprecher's PC and fixed multiple issues for him. He was even in the office for a few of those visits so I've met him.

He's a piece of shiat. Grasso was a 1000x a better chairman for the NYSE and he was a piece of shiat too.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Trump tries to cancel it somehow. Of if it's openly stolen on the order of 95% of votes were for Trump.

A third party with enough Senators to prevent either of the other two from having a clear majority would be the only option.
If done properly, the neutral Senators would always vote to punish the corrupt, and the "other" side would join in.
It could work.
Until the other two parties learned that since their corruption is very similar, that they can just vote with each other to make their forms of corruption legal.
But at least their corruption would be open for all to see.

Hey, I can dream, can't I?

Right, we should fully expect this investigation to get dropped at some point now that he's off the committee. They got what they want, but don't want to risk losing a Republican Senate seat.

The fact that one person can just donate 1 million dollars to a candidate (let's not pretend the PACs are anything but an extension of the campaign) openly like that is the root of all your political dysfunction.
