Sorry Best Buy, I would have bought my elliptical from y'all, but Academy Sports had the same model for $300 less.

/I didn't know Best Buy even sold exercise equipment before that google search.

Unless you need something immediately there is 0 reason to go to best buy. Last time i went was to pick up a switch game because i had a flight coming up and needed something to do on the plane and the store was 1/3 about phones. I also distinctly remember going there needing a HDMI cable and they tried to sell me one for $30 while amazon had them for like $7, I waited the week.

They frequently aren't the "Best Buy", and their backoffice functions for online sales seem to be an abortion. Buy something, your credit card gets charged, then they try to charge the same item to your card again 6 weeks later. Simplest way to clear the matter up ended up being to call the cc issuer, claim fraud, and get a new card.

Me either.

The last (literally) time I went I was ignored by all of the blue-shirted twirps running around, even thought there seemed to be more of them than customers.

I almost got run over by the "help" actually playing hacky sack inside the store.
