I am Tom Joad's Complete Lack of Surprise: For work or play?

Recreational dilation is serious business.

Sounding is a weird kink, but whatever floats your boat.

I don't like the sounding of this.

"The report provides market information about new services, untapped geographies, the latest advances"

"untapped geographies" and "latest advances" you say?

Whoever wrote this either has no idea of the subtext or was snickering a lot.

If they're any more popular than usual, perhaps there's been a rise in chlamydia cases lately. Not many things cause urethral strictures among adults.

This is why I read Fark. Where else would I run into this interesting piece of information. Thank you for posting the most obscure symptom of an STD I hope I'll ever need.

You're welcome, I guess. After I'd first heard of 'sounding', and wondered why anyone would even imagine doing that, I just had to Google why it was invented.

Also, since then, I've heard of doctors using it for severe cases of stenosis of the urinary meatus resulting from circumcision during infancy. I'd imagine this scenario is less obscure than the first one - at least in the US.
