They already do: They have the worst regular season AND postseason winning percentages among active teams all-time, as well as the fewest playoff wins by games and tied for least playoff series wins with the Pelicans. Which makes the fact that they've been further in the playoffs than the Clippers, who have been around 19 more seasons, all the more hilarious.

\it's true: the Clippers, Pelicans and Hornets have NEVER been to the conference finals - and for their first two playoff series in Buffalo the now-Clippers didn't even have to play a first round game
\\granted, their three times in the playoffs they lost to the eventual NBA champs but still
