Holy shiatsnacks.  First Alex Guerrero was selling fake cancer cures, and Brady inexplicably stuck by his scumbag scheming quack friend.  Then there was the concussion water shiattery.that he endorsed with misleading but legal claims that it "comforted him" which I suppose is at least legally/technically correct.  This shiat is a new level of low.

I'm a fan of what he's done on the field, but he's really not the kind of guy I'd invite into my living room for a beer.  It's been a long time since I held up a sportsball player to be a role model.

Well, the ones worth following usually aren't loud about it, but there's some former NFL dude who's spent his retirement buying houses for single moms.  (Edit:  turns out he'd been doing this since he was an active player.)

"Usually".  Colin Kaepernick was loud, but he felt he had to be.  And I'd say America has continued to prove him right, Ahmaud Arbery being only the latest.

What do most people with lots of money want more than anything else in the world?
More money.

Fortunately, I happen to possess a health immune response to Tom Brady.

Wait, you're telling me that Copperfit doesn't really do anything?

If Frank Thomas can't assure me that I can fark better if I use a testosterone supplement, I don't know what I can believe.

This is just the beginning - wait until he retires and starts a food/supplement business with Giselle

Unless he wants me to do a Clorox IV drip and shove a tanning bulb up my butt, followed by snorting ground hydrochloroquine then I don't want any. Immunity boosters sound fake or made up. I'm going to take my health advice from a true stable genius with the biggliest medical knowledge.

Now if you can excuse me I'm going to finish my 5 gallon bucket of Jim Bakker's Rapture Edition potato soup.

Fun story, Desuan Watson grew up in a Warrick Dunn house. I was a fan of Dunns playing days.
You are right to an extent, most of the "good guys" aren't as vocal about the positive things that they do, at least on the national lvl. Primarily because they don't have the exposure to get what they do on to the national stage. JJ Watt is an example of a player who does a tremendous amount of good, both in the local community and nationally. For some reason, a lot of folk on fark hate his guts, probably because of his success and that he is so visible, and while being visible, he does and says all of the right things. Its confusing, but its fark and nothing needs to make sense here.

Football and Basketball players seem to do the most for the community, baseball really seems to be filled with a lot of entitled pricks, but even a lot of them do good things.

Honestly, myself personally, I'd rather stumble upon the good deeds of others, rather than have it shoved in my face, like a sweaty, unwanted stripper ass to the face. But that doesn't sell advertisements, which is the real endgame here, to many.

I hope you paid premium to get the variety with 50% more silver. It's that extra hit of snake oil that really makes the flavours pop

How is it a low at all? My kids gummy vitamins claim to boost immunity too, have the Flinstone Chewables reached a new low?

It's not like he's claiming it prevents you from getting the virus.

hard to be a bigger piece of shiat than Brady unless you are talking about actual criminals like Big Ben

To come out with a new product that claims to boost immunity now, with the pandemic still raging, is taking advantage of the gullible. I'm all for Darwin, but this seems akin to selling defective life vests when the ship is sinking.

I'm not sure it would be worth my time to explain just how useless vitamins are to someone who buys them for their kid.  You've already bought into the marketing that they're useful, based on debunked science, it's not like you're going to believe me, who's just some guy on the internet.

Dammit.  I am a football hero but I've been laughed out of Boston for my TB12 initiative.  What do I do now?  Where do I go?  What population will dumb enough to accept the TB12 method and allow me to swim in a vault full of gold coins like that cunning old fool Scrooge McDuck?

Based on what I've read about TB's diet and regimen, I think he actually believes these pills will boost your immune system and help prevent getting the Ronna.

To him, it's not snake oil. It's real.  And he has no issues sharing it with you, all for just $45 a month.

I dont know if it is actually copperfit but someone out there has ads for masks that have copper fiber in them.  I guess it makes them more effective than regular masks.  All for the low low price of $30.

Unpossible subby, my opinion couldn't get any lower of him.  Magat hat in his locker, cheating on his pregnant girlfriend, cheating in general, being a whiny douche, peddling bs health products is just the soft serve shiat topping on the brady shiat sundae that doesn't stop.

If he's not already a scientologist his proximity to St Pete & his willingness to believe cooky bs makes him a prime candidate

Sports stars should limit themselves to promoting fashion items. Like shoes. Or hats.

Maybe fast-food restaurants are okay. Sort of.

But that's it.

2020-05-20 11:32:27 PM
Huh. A sports writer who has never been down the supplements aisle of any store. I stocked higher priced supplements at Wal-Mart during my stint with them. Can't remember if any were immunity related things but it's not as if he's pioneering anything new here.

I don't see it raising his jerk score much.
