She's also not a "Nurse"
She is not listed in the IDFPR.
The only "Nurse" listed there with her last name is at least 20 years older than her.
This person is most likely a CNA (Certified Nurse Assistant).  That's a one semester class at a Community College.

Haven't RTFA, because I came here just to ask the same farking question. The whole "mask" debate seems stupid if you are going to a place to eat or drink.

6 feet? That should have been enforced.

And her being a nurse and then going on to work with patients at work? That's a different story...

BUt not having a mask at a bar? That seems like a stupid thing to expect.

When this first started, I read an article about some dude who lives alone on an island.  He said people will be unable to stay at home because they are can't turn off the chattering in their minds.  They can't be alone with their thoughts.  I thought he was being a Debbie Downer. He was right.

And subby?

Leave the "toddler" part out. I've now read multiple stories, and the 'toddler' only got mentioned in passing(By her), it's not like she left the kid sitting in a closet at home. She just mentioned that because she thought it might excuse her behavior. Putting it in your headline makes it sound like child abandonment. Do we really need to spread false bullshiat? She deserves scorn for being so carefree with the health of every patient she is going to encounter after her quarantine, and the same with the health of her child, but she doesn't deserve to get accused of leaving a toddler alone at home to go to the bar.

"I have a toddler at home and I'm a full-time nurse, so it's been very stressful and hard to not be able to go out and be with my friends and family at the bars," Katie Koutsky told local WTMJ.

The point of mentioning the toddler is that she needs to grow the fark up.

Here's the thing, we won't know for weeks, maybe even months.

I don't know what I want to happen.  On the one hand, I hope that what all the experts say is going to happen doesn't, because who wants more people to die.  But if there was a quick spike in cases it could actually save more lives because it could scare people int better quarantine.

In today's world there is almost no good reason to voluntarily be interviewed by news as a "local [wo]man" piece for anything that could be remotely controversial. Your name will get out there, someone will take offense, and it will get back to your job whether you want it or not. ESPECIALLY if you mention your job and go spouting advice when you are not a health authority or spokesperson for anything.

Now she goes to work and they're furious, and reading between the lines they threatened her job unless she gave out the apology that was clearly written by the place she works for.

If the news comes to stick a camera in your face, tell them "No thank you" and walk away.

Is this like when Fox puts a (D) against a pic of a Republican who is accused of something?

Tell us what you want to happen to her?

Would being permanently destitute and living under a bridge be enough to you, or are you hoping her corpse will be dragged through the streets like they do in places like Somalia?

If you create enough unnecessary panic and existential dread, some people will just say "fark it" and decide that it's not worth the effort to avoid the inevitable.

It's why it's hard to totally fault kids in poor areas who drop out of high school, and get involved in gangs.

Tell people to stay home for two weeks? People will grumble and do it. Keep moving the goal posts and then start claiming that life will never be the same again? That's when you lose people.

She is an Illinois nurse (R.N.) and works at a hospital in Aurora Illinois.
She won't be in the IDFPR because it's for ILLINOIS residents.  She lives in Wisconsin.
