??? Mickey looks pretty much like modern Mickey in "Steamboat Wille," which is interestingly not very PC.

I thought it was Bernadette at first too, but I think it's Clara Bow.

But have you ever seen both of them in the same place at the same time? Lois Lane has an interesting theory about those two.

Fun Fact: This is from March of the Wooden Soldiers staring Laurel and Hardy.  "Mickey" is an actual monkey wearing a costume.

If I were on death's door while holed up in some rural sanatorium during the 19th century, I would imagine being greeted by people wearing this in order to offer me pagan-based last rites.

Fark is not your personal erotica site.

Seriously- that's oddly specific. I fell like you've really given this thought.

Also from the days before Disney was the litigious behemoth of today.

Walt simply didn't have the clout to go after the producers of that film, so he had to meekly accept their theft of his intellectual property.

No, just my recurring nightmares about aliens who live among us and deliver hidden messages about "CONSUME!" and "OBEY!"

Man, I wish I was working back then, when everybody let you half-arse everything. I've never even had a four martini lunch.

/And they drove home after. Which is wrong.

There's still plenty of jobs where you can show up already drunk and full-arse everything until you finally sober up enough to stagger home. Just look for an office job in government or entertainment.

Is Disney doing badly? Or were they even before corona? I could have sworn that you used to be only able to get Disney-themed products from official Disney stores/parks, but now every other brand in Germany seems to carry something Disney.

I'm not actually sure about that.  In 1934 when the film was made, R.K.O.  was the distributor of both Hal Roach Pictures and Disney, so it might not be a case of intellectual theft

Disney stores have been on the way out for a while except for some flagship ones; why run a store when you can offload all the risk on other retailers?
