Some did. I sure as hell didn't. But, I live in Washington, where even Rainier is preferable to that swill.

They have some $10 rebate thing right now when you submit a restaurant receipt. Luckily, I don't have to buy their beer flavored water in my state to be eligible! I'll use the $10 card to buy some better beer.

Not to mention the lack of a need to impress others with your choice of an obscure microbrew when you're day-drinking at home.

Hence Rainier. The taste of a shiatty beer, without all that national brand recognition.

I haven't had a drink during this whole thing, stupid roommate in AA and me supporting her. Bit if I did it would be the good stuff, not the swill she used to drink.

i drink Busch, Bud light is ok. I drink really good beer as well local microbrews and etc

but bud light or busch gets warm and then cold and then warm and then cold ? no one gonna know the difference

i like beer, it all has its place. i drink a lot of beer so busch / budlight is like water

i usually start off with the good stuff and the switch

That's pretty much the definition of an Apocalypse, right there.

Besides, the stores were out of bottled water.

I drink mostly a pre-prohibition lager (brewed from a resurrected recipe from a long gone local brewery - though the building was still there until about the time I got my driver's license.) and Space Cowboy IPA both from a local brewery - I know the brewer.

It's been Coors Banquet here for the "patio" beer. Interspersed with a few 8packs of Guinness early on.

Plus, my buddy owns a great brewery downtown so obviously have been making weekly trips for crowlers.

Calling Bud Light "swill" is an insult to swill.
