Thirty minutes after Destree told reporters she was lifting the order, Mjelde's bar, Richard Craniums on Broadway in Green Bay, was open for customers.

Mjelde said this gives bars and other businesses the chance to open safely and prove they can be leaders in the community.

The last person I'd look at to be a leader would be someone operating a business called Dick Heads.  I hate to say it, but as a current resident of Georgia, I welcome to the farked Up States of America Wisconsin.

Surely Paul Ryan will swoop in and rescue his former constituents.  No?  Good thing he gave his future self a massive tax cut.  Is he OK financially?  Are the guns safe in Wisconsin?  Because that's what really matters.

Deaths are a lagging indicator.  Many dead people contracted it a month before.  Dumb people will hit the bars in droves in 2 weeks when "nothing happened".  We live in interesting times. I have it on good authority that guns are in fact immune to viral infections and therefore perfectly safe.  At least until them dimmycrats come and steal them all away.  They've been six months away from doing it in the same way Iran's been six months from a nuclear weapon for as long as I've been alive.

Another fine example if why "responsibility" is the dirtiest word in this country.

The Republicans hated the extension but the conservative packed SC refused to give any guidance.  The legislature would rather saw their own nuts off than work with Evers.  The local municipalities are all scrambling but it's all patchwork so this should be fun.

People DO NOT CARE.

When we couldn't get a decent conversation going about gun control and mental health after Sandy Hook, preferring to let the bodies stack up in lieu of talking about gunz we should have realized people DO NOT CARE about other dead people.

People are screaming in the streets that having to wear a mask and stay inside for a couple of months is tyranny and oppression and an infringement on their rights. The fact that other people will die is as nothing compared to their minor inconvenience. They DO NOT CARE.

This is America now. It's all about ME. Nobody else matters, it's MY rights, MY gunz, MY haircut, ME.

Children. These people have the mentality of children.

The government said they couldn't do something harmful to themselves or others so they didn't.

Then the government was told they cannot impose this upon the people so the people interpreted that as do whatever the fark you want and there they are. Children without supervision.

No one is taking personal responsibility.

I went to get groceries today and at least 65% of the people I saw weren't wearing their masks correctly. I saw more people not wearing them correctly than I saw people wearing them correctly. White, black, hispanic; it didn't matter. They all had them down below their nose, or even just pulled down completely. I get so angry over it, especially when the workers are doing it too.

People are idiots, and that fact knows no race, gender, or creed.

It's frustrating that Wisconsin's elected and appointed government officials just murdered tens of thousands of their constituents, likely to thunderous applause by a vocal minority of ignorant state residents.
I have been reading another thread and couldn't even post because of the stories of hardship there.

I've been wearing a mask since March 1st, but than again my employer issued a work-from-home order March 5th and a strong advisory against all non-essential outings for the rest of the month. They deactivated all badges too. One week later, the Bay Area issued a shelter in place order that, so far, everyone has taken seriously.

I have to appreciate the timing in that my county had its first recorded COVID-19 death on the same day this "decision" was handed down to us.

The Crisco Taliban is still all pissy that we finally got wise enough to throw Scott Walker out on his worthless ass, so everything they do now is just another instance of petty retaliation since they don't actually give a toss about their worshipers.

Wish I could "smart" this more than once.

So many in this country will not give a rats ass until it happens to them or someone in their immediate circle.

Right now, the virus has only been confirmed in about .5% of the population, if my math is right. And that's disproportionate to certain states.

Until that comes home to roost, way way way too many Americans just wont care. "Don't know anyone who got it, don't know anyone who died, don't know why I should care. My tattoo can't wait 6 weeks. Gotta open up now."

Went on a stadium tour in 1999 with a roommate. Had no hotel reservations and a very loose schedule. Saw a sign on the side of the highway for a headshop that said "Pipe sale: 50% off."  Bought a pipe. Used it many times. About an hour later, as we considered our paper map and tried to figure where we would end up that night, we saw this on the map:

Bong State Recreational Area.

We knew where we would be camping that night. Still have the patch I bought at the visitors' center.

As a Wisconsinite I don't  even know what the fark to say anymore. This is the most disgusting shiatshow these utterly corrupt little podunk twits have pulled, and that's saying something. My wife with MS started throwing up this morning and sometimes when that happens she can't stop and has to go to the ER. Thank God we didn't have to go there and she's holding fluids down and sleeping peacefully. Thank God I'm actually getting the unemployment I'm supposed to and my employer is smart and decent enough to keep us off from our face to face with customers jobs for another month or so at least. To all Wisco Farkers, good luck and God bless, whether you're angry and sad, or glad to be going back to work. I wish the best possible outcome for all of you, even if I think you're a dumbfark.

SwiftFox: Local governments:  ask the governor's office what to do.

The state attorney general, Josh Kaul (D) issued an opinion that local health orders are legal, but in light of the state Supreme Court's goofy ruling, criminal penalties are probably not enforcible, only adminstrative penalties. The whole text is easily googleable. As I am not a lawyer I defer to that for most questions.
