The policy also excluded damage caused by "vermin". And while we can certainly debate the matter of Insects v. Arachnids, I suspect that a large percentage of the judiciary would assign spiders to the "vermin" category.

Who cares about the vegetables, fark with a rusty rebar the asshole pig who killed 80+ dogs for amusement:

Woman returns home from trip to amusement park with her granddaughter to find Detroit police have raided her home (based on tip from confidential informant). No drugs are found, and the woman is charged with no crime. But during the raid police killed her dog, a Labrador Retriever named Mandy, whose body they disposed of in a landfill. Sixth Circuit: Might could be the officer who shot the dog-who, by the way, has shot 80 to 90 dogs during the 3,000 drug raids he's participated in-used excessive force.

Sounds like the case of the very first life insurance policy, where the company tried to weasel out of it by saying that when the deceased insured himself for a year, it meant a lunar year instead of a solar year.

This analogy is terrible.

Knowledge is a set of skills, with Knowledge (nature) being the appropriate one. It can be trained and is modified by your Intelligence modifier.

Wisdom and Charisma are ability scores, also called statistics or stats. Based on how high your ability score is, you are granted a modifier to rolls relevant to that statistic.

Fortitude is a type of save, representing one's ability to resist physical damage, poisons, and diseases. The saving throw is modified by your Constitution modifier.

A better formulation of the analogy would be:

Intelligence is knowing tomatoes are fruits.
Wisdom is not putting tomatoes in a fruit salad.
Charisma is persuading someone to eat your tomato-based fruit salad.
Constitution is eating and keeping down tomato-based fruit salad.
Strength is how hard you hit the guy that just tricked you into eating tomato-based fruit salad.
Dexterity is dodging the punch from the guy you tricked into eating tomato-based fruit salad.

I came here to quote that one - that cop is straight up farking evil.  I would have no problem with him being killed by someone, anyone.

That "no proof of bad faith in the destruction of evidence" decisions screams BULLSHIAT at me.  If the cops (or anyone) lose evidence then it should always be considered "in bad faith," especially considering the specific department in question.

That would be Officer William Morrison - https://casetext.com/case/bullock-v-city-of-detroit.  There are several google articles about him killing dogs over the past few years.
