25% silent asymptomatic carriers with a 2+ week incubation period and you are contagious by day 3 i think it was....

But sure lets just go with the stupid idea that we won, sports are more important that life itself

Rugby league is the perfect social distancing sport, you only get within ten meters of another player like two or three times

A typical State of Origin has more parole officers in the stands than regular fans.

Actually, Australia crushed its Covid retransmission date by staying home, contact tracing, and being patient.  They can probably do this.

On Australia's "List of Things That Could Kill You Today" coronavirus ranks in the low teens, just between "poisonous flying tree snakes" and "Donks".

Is union's lack of return due to Rugby Australia operating with the same competency as the Trump administration?

And you couldn't travel between states either, at least without a legitimate reason. That's why Aussie Rules Football shut down.

That link didn't work for me but as far as I'm aware, Australia's dramatically cut down on coronavirus transmission. Now would be a reasonable time for them to slowly add things back in a responsible, safe way.

You shut your face mouth, subby.  Aussie rules is aussome.  (And it's coming back June 11.  All the footies are coming back.)

They should be back in June (and looks like the Force will be included this time). Rugby Australia seems intent on destroying itself, so who knows what will really happen.

So the assumption is that it will stay away and not come back? Are they banking international flights?

I love Aussie Rules football. It's like they put every rule from every code of football in a box, shook it up and randomly picked a set of rules.

I can only commit to one Aussie sport at a time, and I've been a member of the St Kilda Saints for nine years now.

When the AFL (hopefully) restarts in June, I'll once again try to get some fellow Americans to watch my favorite sport. They won't, but I'll try.

Carn The Saints !

I still have my Watch AFL streaming subscription.  I've gotten a few of my fellow Americans to at least join me for Grand Final day.

A WatchAFL subscription is included in my Saints International membership. The time difference is the main issue for me. I hate seeing spoilers online before I watch a replay, so I try to watch as many games live as I can. But I'm not going t invite people over at 1:00 A.M. to join me.

I'm not paying money to watch the Lions at 1am, I'll just stick with the streams the rare times I'm able to watch it.

/same goes with the Broncos

Sydney like typing detected. Subby is happy that he can watch his watered down rugby at home, just like before the virus, because there are no bars to go to in Sydney.
