The Revenant. Tom Hardy was harsh. And the sweeping shots showing miles of nothing but wilderness makes me calm.

I was in total lockdown quarantine for the last two weeks of March, and one day I got particularly twitchy, so I took a virtual 'walk' around town (Nelson, BC) by watching Roxanne. Even though the movie is over 30 years old, the neighbourhood hasn't changed much.

If that's something you're looking for, then you should probably take their recommendation of The New World, if you haven't.  It's like all the decent Malick, it's going to be worthless if you're playing with your phone or otherwise occupied.  But if you give it your full attention then it can be really immersive and gorgeous.

I don't need to give any qualifiers for watching Hunt for the Wilderpeople.  I feel like I don't know anyone who wouldn't enjoy that movie.  Hilarious and a lot of fun.  TFA says it's on Epix or Starz, but it's usually available on Hulu, which is probably accessible for a lot more people

I watched Grizzly Man with no knowledge of what it was about awhile back. Good documentary, but it left me angry and sad. I guess it's hard to help a crazy person when they really don't want it
