Well they bite you know. And you totally heard this in her wavering wispy voice.

Of course, the toothbrush was invented in Maine. If it had been invented anywhere else it would have been called the teethbrush.

Good point. Make sure that Medicare For All also covers dental.

I loathe that woman.  She is dumber than a bag of rocks and more craven that a meth head.

But she's concerned!  Concerned, Carl!

man, maybe she should have farking voted to hear witnesses in the impeachment trial. There's a chance Pence wouldn't have gotten in the way of pandemic response and farked everything up.

Because a root canal is so much worse than having your lungs destroyed by a highly contagious virus.

Hey Susan Stenchhole
Brush after you eat. Don't wait around till bedtime waiting for the root to seep in.
Brush immediately after eating!

Twice a day is a minimum for keeping some teeth into your 40s.

After every time you eat will actually take profits from dentists by protecting you better.

Rot to seep. Not root.

Still no cure for autocorrect.

Why sort of lazy asshole eats during a pandemic shutdown, with no where pressing to venture to and ready access to the home bathroom with a toothbrush and paste, but doesn't bother to brush immediately after eating?

2020-05-13 5:20:02 AM
Its a State by State issue. Most States are allowing emergency procedures. Yes, you might miss your regular checkup and have a cavity missed, it will be a fairly insignificant number though.

2020-05-13 5:23:06 AM
Sorry for the typos.
Susan Collins makes me angry.

Now she's pro death to be pro rot!

Cuts pandemic prep funding, now she wants to use preventable tooth decay as a cudgel to reopen the economy!

A swift punch to the face will knock a rotting tooth out.

Susan Collins is so disingenuous.

2020-05-13 5:26:29 AM
Well,
1. Yes, dental care insurance needs to be fixed, and all dental care should be covered under Medicare/caid, as all dentists know poor teeth lead to other health problems.

2. Or is she talking about the Zombie apocalypse and all people must have their teeth removed to stop the spread of covid-19 zombism.

3. Susan Collins is a farking moronic Trumponian sycophant that needs to be retired.

2020-05-13 5:29:36 AM
Just think of all the teeth that can be harvested from the 80k that died.

Fark you Susan--you chose to go down with the Trumptanic.  Your concern about Americans didn't even register as much as your concern about political donations and drinking the kool-aid of the Trumpenfuhrer.  It's going to be miraculous when she starts doing the network outlets saying, "I tried to be a moderate, I was one of the few Republicans who would disagree (when McConnell gave her permission".

I don't trust anyone with bad breath, particularly anyone who uses mints or gum to cover bad breath.

Donald J Trump has notoriously bad breath.

Bad breath is a sign of weakness and love of short term gains as the expense of long term safety.

Just brush your farking teeth, if not for me, for your own wallet!

This is just one of those threads where I'm a mix of angry at Susan Collins and unable to get small words correct. Doesn't matter if I preview, I swear my brain hides the typos from me until they're posted in an attempt to get me to stop posting.

The fact that she thinks bad teeth are more important than not dying shows she isn't mentally fit for office.

Go home and crawl into a hole, you heartless, lizard mole person.

2020-05-13 5:48:46 AM
If everyone took care of their teeth and saw their dentist often, he/she wouldn't be able to charge eleventy zillion dollars for a root canal.  Why does she hate capitalism?

Bad enough teeth can kill.
But Collins is stupid.

An advertising campaign about brushing after eating would help during the pandemic more than Collins' clumsy attempts to use emotional abuse to reopen the economy.

People can go back to their mints and gum and laziness after the pandemic.

/had a molar go bad in my late 20s, after that now I brush after I eat. Never again will I go through that! Maybe the molar rot killed the part of my brain responsible for proofreading.

Dentists do a little more than that. A friend's father was at a dentist when the dentist found an early sign of cancer during a routine checkup.

Most of their work is cosmetic, sure, but keeping up on your checkups is still a smart idea.

And you don't want to end up in The Big Book of British Smiles.

On an honest note I'm already there, but I seriously doubt the frequency of dentists discovering fatal conditions on checkups is pretty low.

Not always fatal, but you don't want to spend the last years of your life like Roger Ebert spent his, either.

My friend's dentist sent her to the cardiologist based on something he saw in her x-rays. Probably saved her life.

My sister's dentist told her that her loose teeth were a sign of diabetes onset. Went to her dr., he said yup, you got it but we might be able to keep you from needing to inject insulin for the rest of your life. Fixt her right up in about three months of diet, exercise . . . and a big fat dose of learnin' about how to avoid being stupid about her health. She also now schedules regular dental check ups.

Not true. It's used for vasoconstriction to stop bleeding in extractions and implants. Also, where do you think novoCAINE or lidoCAINE comes from?

I'm pretty sure excessive toothbrushing and brushing immediately after eating (has something to do with the effect of saliva while eating on the teeth) have been shown to be bad for your teeth.
