"Of the nearly 20 percent of voters who disliked both Clinton and Trump in 2016, Trump outperformed Clinton by about 17 percentage points, according to exit polls.

Four years later, that same group - including a mix of Bernie Sanders supporters, other Democrats, disaffected Republicans and independents - strongly prefers Biden, the polling shows. The former vice president leads Trump by more than 40 percentage points among that group, which accounts for nearly a quarter of registered voters, according to a Monmouth University poll last week."

If Trump's losing the hate voters who's going to replace their votes? Death voters? Millions of people walking into his office saying "Sir, you're doing a great job"? Black people who love him?

Every vote matters now. If you "protest" voted third party, if you stayed at home, if you made a nonsense vote, you helped this mess become a reality.

No more. Hitch up your Big Kid Pants and be sure you're registered and do your damn part. We are going to need every vote because for DAMN sure folks are going to be looking to silence your vote, and we can't let that happen.

It's not about "haters" it's not about sides, it's about survival, and on one hand, we have perhaps a flawed leadership that needs the input from citizens, and on the other, we have grifters and the insane who will build a pyre from your bodies. And it's not hyperbole in any way, shape, or form. We are living out the consequences of putting an idiot into the White House, and an Administration of inordinately unqualified folks into offices that they have zero idea how to run, and the fine upstanding citizens that they answer to...their interests do not coincide with the needs of the country. This is exactly what some of us said would happen, but we got pooh-poohed to the side, because we were exaggerating the threat and alarmists.

Look out the window. Right now. THIS is what happens when you gamble the future on an idiot. GW was what happens when you put an idiot into office and ignores the warnings of danger. 9/11 was the result. Literally, the worst attack on US soil. Donnie sailed right past those benchmark numbers, and we are looking at numbers exceeding the Vietnam War. And that is only going to get worse.

No more idiots. Put your dislike away, and start judging competency. No more worrying about who'd you rather have a beer with. Start judging your leadership by if you think your kids would be safer with them watching things than staring off into space or rage-Tweeting about how butthurt he is because someone said something mean about his failures.

America: we are past the time to grow the f*ck up.

This. Run up the score as much as possible. Condemn Trump to history with the indelible legacy of a loser, named in the same breath as Hoover, Landon, Goldwater, or Mondale.

It's simple.

It's actually a fustercluck if I'm being honest.

Biden has his flaws, and his blindspots among certain constituencies, but being Obama's wingman overcomes a lot of that, and it's way too obvious that another four years of this craziness just will not do.

This.

This will be the LAST ELECTION if we don't vote.

Seriously.

If Trump wins, I'm having a serious discussion if not argument with the wife and cats that we need to bail.

Period.

America is nearing the stage of being unalterably broken and not fixable without some sort of national renaissance of the sort that usually takes place during or after dictatorships and/or civil wars.

Hoover doesnt deserve the association with trump, none of those guys do. Hoover was a principled man that was essentially the exact wrong man at the wrong time. He was a successful businessman and generally principled iirc. In retrospect his policies were wrong for dealing with the depression, but it was relatively unprecedented at the time and its hard to imagine anyone doing much better without hindsight. Hoover is more of a carter figure, a good, intelligent man who just didnt catch a break.

The people trump should be associated with are people like joe arapio, mike flynn, jared kushner - people trump voluntarily associates himself with, a cadre of failures, hucksters, con men, and incompetent criminals. Its a national shame that he was dumped into the white house like a malformed turd.

Unfortunately, there are still way too many people, some of them right here on Fark, who insist that Biden and the Democrats have to "earn" their votes, without ever quite specifying what is needed to "earn" that precious vote.

They don't like Trump or anything he does or stands for...but claim Biden doesn't do enough for the downtrodden working man or have a coherent platform for dealing with the problems of low wages or health care, etc. (He does)

But these voters don't just want Biden to HAVE such things, they want something MORE before casting their vote; only they can't tell you what, exactly, it is. Just, you know, something. It's like nailing Jello to a tree.

2020-05-12 10:10:37 PM
In general "haters" dislike the people in office more than those not in office.

For example many 3rd party people(yes I know that's not who we are talking about) are the biggest haters there are, the only reason they like their third party person is they have no chance of getting in office. If they did they would probably hate them as well and prefer someone else.

I have a question. Do you think if their candidate had won that they would have said "Oh our candidate needs to earn your votes by moving to the middle?"

And when Biden has moved towards them they attack him as doing it for votes and not really caring.

Look those guys are not real democrats. They are people just trying to sabotage Democrats and hate the democratic party.

Yep. Voting 3rd party is a way they can feel above it all, no matter who wins.
So many farkers are terrified of admitting to liking anything considered mainstream (remember the music tab?), so third party voting is their last bastion of political hipsterism.

The trolls didn't have 25 years of Limbaugh's greatest hits ready to go.
FFS, The Pubs had their attack line on Hillary ready in 2008. That's why Limbaugh pushed Operation Chaos. She was an easier takedown than Obama.
2016, all they had to do is play the greatest hits, and gullible dipshiats were swallowing it whole and asking for seconds.

2016 Haters: I hate Trump but I am going to vote for him.

2020 Haters: I hate Biden but I am going to vote for him.

Have I got that right?

Well, the solution is obvious. Trump should dump Pence and choose Bernie as his running mate, while Biden should not even consider an intelligent, vocal woman, but choose the most despicable ass he can find as his own running mate.

Who could that be? Well, it's obvious isn't it? Ted Cruz.

I think I found the problem with the corrupt, cynical and crooked US electoral system:  the corrupt, cynical and crooked US voter-man and possibly some of the Karens.

Bullshiat.

Your premise is voters in 2016 didn't know what they were getting in Trump. That's a lie. Nothing Trump has said or done as president is inconsistent with who he was as a candidate, businessman, or game show host.

And I don't believe most Trump voters think his track record is bad.

I honestly think Parscale is pulling a Trump: fleecing and grifting the campaign. From other articles posted in Fark, the dude has made serious bank off of Trump donors. Wouldn't surprise me if he double-crossed the Cheater-in-Chief.

I think Parscale has discovered how weak and gullible Trump is, and is feeding off that money trough as long as he can. If/when Trump loses the election I expect Parscale to convince him to fight the results by setting up an "alternative presidency" which Parscale will run of course. Shiat, the guy's easy to fleece if you tell him what he wants to hear.

He's a scumbag, and apparently a scumbag fleecing other scumbags.

Lusiphur: thorpe: whosits_112: brantgoose: Olympic Trolling Judge: Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale likened the campaign to a "death star."

Has he... has he seen Star Wars?  Or Return of the Jedi?  Or Force Awakens?  Or the Dallas Cowboys?

So who do the Dems have as a volunteer to fly up its butt crack and attack its vulnerable port hole?

In scams and advertising, the easiest people to fool are always the ones who think they're too smart to fall for it.

Like a stable genius, perhaps?

This all depends on how Biden portrays himself over the next 4 months.
Is he just another spendthrift Democrat?  Is his running mate a whackjob?
Then a very divided country may break for Trump.
