It's not like these towns just surprised us by being divided by states, but the elected officials have never made it a priority to fix what was obviously a major possible cluster fark, and now the chickens are coming home to roost.

The experts say that this is a mistake. The Facebook doctors and Republicans disagree. Who would you listen to, someone who has devoted his entire life and study to the health and well-being of people, or someone who wants to stick it to Democrats?

Seems pretty obvious to me.

South western and Southern Virginians need to remember at the ballot box that their Governor decided to consult more with DC and MD then with you citizens.

Tennessee 15,544 cases, 251 dead

Let's see how this plays out, shall we?

This is going to get turned into a Hallmark love story with a love-across-borders situation, isn't this?
The ad will have the guy indoors with a mask on looking out the window at the gal standing out side without a mask.
The end will be the ironic twist when they meet and he catches Covid from her and dies while she only has a slight reaction.
The end.

The town was probably founded when Tennessee was part of VA, before it got lopped off like the ends of NC, SC and GA. The surveyors should have marked the state line just east of west instead of going right through.

Tennessee was never part of Virginia. It was always the western extension of North Carolina. Kentucky was the western extension of Virginia.

It's almost as if more people live closer to SC and MD compared to southwestern and southern Virginia (outside of Hampton Roads).

Not to mention how much more Northern Virginia contributes to the economy than the southern parts do.

Actually the Canadian side was in Quebec so it was really more like the English books on the American side and the French books on the Canadian side.

Any English book that crosses into Quebec is immediately burned.

Bill Lee...

Signed an order declaring honoring Nathan Bedford Forrest Day.
Signed an order protecting places that refuse to allow LGBTQ adoptions.
Signed the 'heartbeat' law.
Declined to expand state Medicare.

Doesn't seem particularly bright, but typical Republican.

Given that the town was founded in 1852 when Tennessee existed, it was split between Tennessee and Virginia, same as today.
