Not in PA, but in nearby DE I actually looked at the estate COVID stats today.

Apparently every single case is in slower, lower Delaware, the more rural and right leaning part of the state.

\Though to be fair there are plenty of pro tax cut anti regulation finance and executive types in northern Delaware
\\They're just outnumbered in the northern part of the state.

That's when the campaign season starts, roughly.  At least traditionally: this is why there were barely any campaign ads two weeks ago and now there are like ten thousand in circulation.

This is also why Trump's team kinda went from "we can deal with this, they're just poor people, who cares" mode over the plague killing people to "oh fark we're all farked oh god oh god" mode.  The common wisdom is that the electorate will completely forget anything that happens in April or earlier by the time of election day, but things that are happening still in May/June are still in the minds of even the dumbest voters (which is part of the reasoning for starting the ad buys now as well).

I remember him loving the Bush at first, then changing, slowly.  I had a different alt back then, related to guitars made in Nazareth, PA.  I left for 3 or 4 years out of annoyance over censorship and also a crazy now ex-wife.  I'm always ready to accept that someone has seen the light of anti-republicanism, although I suspect in this case it really is more anti trumpism.

I saw that Dancing in Anson was posting today as well.  I suspect he still loves all things trump derp down inside.

Definitely.

And before anyone asks: yes, there is such a thing as non-toxic masculinity.  For example, the late Fred Rodgers.

It has been enlightening to watch him go from an Iraq War supporting Bushie to basically a Democrat. Sadly, my brother has gone the other direction. He voted for Nader, Kerry, Obama, Obama, Trump.

You raise a good point.  It takes a certain amount of character to change one's beliefs, if that's what's really happening.  Cf. Prodigal Son.
Another example is Aesop's North Wind and the Sun.

I've nothing to add to this other than I met Governor Wolfe once before he was a governor. I was friends with his daughter in college. Seemed like a decent man. Have followed his terms as governor despite living 1500 miles away, seems like a pretty good leader.

Came back into the office today after working from home for a month and a half.

My Trump-supporting boss: "Isn't it great that this whole virus thing turned out to be nothing?"
Me: <changes subject so fast I think I made time go backwards>

Wolfie is trying his best and it makes sense how he is reintroducing normality, but I'd really like to see the Lt. Governor have an unhinged profanity loaded rant against trump's mismanagement of this crisis. Half the state in the middle might listen then. Google him and you'll know why if you know anything about Pennsylvania. Tons love WWF here if you know what I mean.

Wolf didn't mess around today. He said opening businesses when you're not allowed is against the law, and they will lose their insurance because the insurance companies will not reinsure, or pay out to, businesses that break the law.
